Many many thanks again guys, I really appreciate all of your support.

My Mom is a fighter, she fought 8 years ago when they said she had a short time to live and I know she'll fight again. She is in very good spirits right now and is actually looking forward to the surgery (as crazy as that sounds). She had not been feeling well in recent months and after a lot of tests they found out that a kidney was failing. It kills me to see her go through so much, 'cause she also has Diabetes, so she always has to be wary of that.

I just can't wait for monday to come and go so that she can begin the recovery process, I know it's gonna take a while, but it'll all be worth it 'cause I'll still be able to hug her and tell her I love her.

I can relate.....2 weeks ago my girlfriend had major surgery to remove a large tumor that had grown in her abdomin. The tumor was wrapped up in her small intestine, colon, appendix, and urinary tract. The doctor was able to successfully remove the tumor but she might have to go through radiation therapy to get rid of the microscopic remains that could be left behind.
Whether to do radiation therapy or not has yet to be decided - the doctors have to talk it over some more, but we will know for sure probably in the next week or so - The good thing is that she has made it through everything so far................and I am confident that your mother will to
