I placed my order for Connery, and I will most definitely place an order for the new Brosnan next week. And a Lazenby in a kilt will be a must buy as well.
Imho, nobody does figures in suits better then Sideshow.
Now where's my damn 1/6 scale jetpack Sideshow? :tap

I really like these but I think I am going to pass and stick with the PF versions. Hopefully we will get a Craig, Lazenby, and Dalton PF in the next couple years.

Where are you guys seeing pics of Brosnan?

Check this week's newsletter in the Bond section. It's right under the Connery "For Sale" announcement.

Brosnan looks OK. Hopefully, the final product won't have a Vaseline-caked shiny face.

I think I'll pass on it though in favor of the older GoldenEye version. Cheaper, still a great looking head sculpt, and my favorite Bond outfit (don't know why...just is...).

Pics of it in different poses and reviews are hard to come by for it though. Can anyone post some comments and pics of it?? I'd really appreciate it!! :)

Imagine the suit if the did Dracula today....

I picked up Connery even though he will definitely go under the brush and I'll be looking for a good way to do the carnation. I'm exscited at the prospect of painting up a Connery sculpt. Should be really cool when it's done!

You know? I was thinking the same thing... I really would love to repaint that head sculpt... would be fun.

I have mine on order. Definitely appears to be a solid job by Sideshow on this one.

Brosnan was a nice surprise. Hopefully there'll be a few more announcement in the next couple of weeks. I'd love Craig be shown next week.

Hey, just when are these supposed to ship? I just checked my order status, and my pre-order for the White Tux CONNERY BOND says "Shipping Soon, Call To Cancel" ?!!! Are these in-hand and ready to ship?

Whoa, that's weird, I don't think they're supposed to ship until Q4, but personally I'd be thrilled if the actually were going to ship now!

Yeah, I just looked at the product page, and it definitely says 4th Quarter, so I'm mystified by the "Shipping Soon" notice next to my order. Probably just a glitch. In order to see it, I click on the "cancel orders" menu, and on the next screen, the message is displayed next to my order details. Weird!

I don't have room on my shelves for the Bond figures, but I did order this:

They chose some pretty perfect shots for each movie's space on the board. I can't wait to see what the pieces look like...

(Although I can't remember the last time I actually had enough time to actually play an entire game of Monopoly all the way through to the end.)

And from the same place, this is coming for my kids:

Now back to your previously scheduled thread...

I'm already thinking of picking up a second one. Swap the head out for a Hero Head Humphrey Bogart and you've got one sweet Rick Blaine from Casablanca!

That's a really good idea, but I really want my Rick Blaine in trench coat and hat. I've got one right now, looks absolutely nothing like Bogey, but he sits on my shelf waiting for a better replacement.

I would buy that 007 monopoly if I had someone willing to play monopoly with me. :lol

Is that the Dr. No head? I wonder if some discreetly sculpted bushy eyebrows and sideburns (and ear hair) could turn him into:

I would love Sideshow to make an entire set of 12" Warner Bros. Gangsters.
Just imagine: James Cagney as Tom Powers, Edward G. Robinson as Cesare Enrico Bandello, Humphrey Bogart as Duke Mantee, Humphrey Bogart as Sam Spade (w/ trenchcoat and hat) and Humphrey Bogart as Rick Blaine (in white dinner jacket)

Okay, you convinced me, Rick Blaine with the white dinner jacket.

It's the Goldfinger head.

I wish sideshow had done this figure and called it DAF, so I could keep my display as is with the Bond in front with the box's movie poster cover behind him. Of course it would have required a new sculpt...exclusive? Removable hair piece of course.

I'm not that impressed with this one to be honest, don't know if its the paint job on it?

I'll definately buy the Brosnan though, I've just bought Jaws to start this line so it looks like I may end up getting them all... :lol

I just picked that up at my local comics shop. It rules - instead of properties you collect the movies. If you want to play come on over to my house. :D
