Yup. Spear length wasn't the issue needs to be alot thicker, Girth.

It does not bother me the tiny details look fine still. I think the statue looks great has it is, defiantly ordering one of these, just not committing to one yet has I plan to get Megatron

If you're getting the Reg waiting is the sensible thing to do.

I've personally never had any issues with spear length, or girth, fyi….

So i was just thinking of this and this kinda sorta bugs me…so when the piece came out people voiced their concerns..the quills, dreds, bio-mask, spear length were/are inaccurate..some people had issues w the base but these are actual inaccuracies. SS comes out and says we like it, no changes; take it or leave it. Now they are delaying the piece bcz it doesn't meet THEIR standards, which to begin didn't meet OUR standards. (yes, we like it, i know, its not awful, i ordered it, just saying…)…now i hate to do this but compared to other companies, like ARH, PCS, and ESPECIALLY, XM Studios, all listen to customer/fan feedback….all of these companies have changed and altered their product proto's bcz of our feedback…XM altered and asked for fan input on magneto, and the statue is a hit. PCS has done this w their MK and SF lines and they have pumped out quality stuff. Why, ESPECIALLY since this thing is delayed this far, can't we tack on some quills, make the spear bigger etc? And if we're being honest, these things do make the statue INACCURATE. It will only make the statue better, it won't cost a thing in comparison to what they're charging for this piece…its this attitude that messes with me and makes me think twice about ordering their products. Fan input and customer input is not a bad thing!

Well they were clear in saying 'No changes' so it is what it is.
SS have never been in the mindset of listening to their fans... Unfortunately.
They did add the spare portrait stand. Dunno if that was always the plan or added later

Rejecting factory samples and pushing back the date has got to be a good thing if you're spending $1,200+ on this.
At least anyone on the fence has a perfect opportunity to bail now

Oh, and the Spear looks like a toothpick compared to what it should be.

SS could of listened on numerous statues. Engineer springs to mind. We get a weak statue, they sell way less... I can't see how anyone wins but that's their attitude.

ESPECIALLY when this thing will have been TWO YEARS from initial preorder (29th Oct 2013) to possible delivery (latest update - Oct 2015)

They would sell LOADS more if they fixed the issues (and mine wouldn't be sent back if I decide I can't put up with the dreds/quills/mask/spear when (if) it arrives).

All these things would have been EASY fixes - I tell ya - first up against the wall come the revolution baby !!!!!!!!!

but thats what I'm saying it shouldn't be 'it is what it is' etc..like in all honesty that just shouldn't be tolerated anymore…were not complaining about our preferences or something artistic, its just the damn accuracy of the character..simple stuff that should be mutually agreed on bcz the interpretation should be pretty straight forward…I'm honestly glad its the only PO i have at the moment w them..at least ik out of the box w other companies I won't have to worry about QC issues and ik that I'm not supporting a company that gives 2 craps about what I think and simply wants to charge my card.

That's why I'm just hoping some of these other newer companies pick up more of the licenses I'm interested in (alien/predator). They actually care what their customers think and go for accuracy & quality.

You had the chance to make things change by not pre-ordering.
Why are they going to change anything while they have a full, Ex, order book? (The Reg will probably end up being discounted).

No, ordering then sending back is better than not ordering at all(at least for US/Can buyers). Shows interest, but rejects poor attempt. If no orders were placed they would probably not make any more.

I mean now that they said they won't change it. They should release more info before it gets past the point of no return for the next one, would have taken us 5 min to improve it 1000%

If no orders were placed they would just stop making pred items rather than admit they failed miserably.

Once orders have been taken nothing will change. No orders means something needs to be done.
