Alex, I really like what you did with yours. I will likely be getting repainted/touched up as well.

Thanks its well worth it, once its here I will show you the before and after photos. Although Im sure to get it to be more screen accurate it will need to be a head to toe repaint and thats just a bit more work and investment I like to make on this guy right now.

This guy said he had zero painting skills and managed to do this with the brow...

Yup. Not sure why Averones painter decided to concentrate on painting the outer crown red.

That head, above, with Averones mouth detail and quills, although i would want them longer, would be perfect imo.

Here's some pictures you could forward to your artist...

Ignore the eyes on the last pic. The guy who got hold of one of thr actual prop put them in himself.
The first two are ftom the SWS.

Sorry, jusr looked back and the quills are nice, Fireflys were a bit too stumpy.

You wouldnt like anything firefly76 posted anyway.......lol

I think joe dunaway did a great job on mines and im happy with it.

funny part is Alex quills are the same length.......haters gone hate

question when are you gonna get yours customized? I mean you saved the most money, but your not gonna do anything but critique everyone else......

Your quills look shorter, especially at the side of his mouth where they are meant to be very long.
No need to get arsey.

How did I save most money? 20% added V.A.T.

The guy who says 'Check out my collection and please leave feedback' Can't take honest opinions without crying? :lol

Did you ever get through to SSC Spike?

All attempted contact has been with the fella that was most helpful in the past.

  • Sun 24th Jan - email with photo(s) & request for replacement hand + spear + bio-head.
  • Tue 2nd Feb - email re-sent as a reply/forward.
  • Mon 8th Feb - left him a voicemail.
  • Wed 10th Feb - left him another voicemail.

So - 4 attempts at contacting them, it's been 3 weeks today and I've heard NOTHING.

Matt's given me another name and I'll add them to the next email I send.

You?

I was the same, so I live chatted to find out what is going on and waited an hour + not knowing if the thing was even working but finally got through. Turns out he is still working there, but has been off and they aren't sure when he'll be back. This understandably explains the lack of reply's we have been getting. The lady on live chat said she'd email me directly about the P2 but I never received anything so I've just contacted general customer services about it. I don't mind, I'm generally patient, I'm just worried that they may have burned through the replacements while I was waiting patiently for a reply that was never going to come..

I got mine on Friday impressive piece but, as everyone else pointed up it has a lot of issues. any suggestion what to use for Quills, i bought dyed porcupine quills
but there are not sturdy enough?
