If I ever get mine sorted (replaced) I thought I might order some Sculpey bend & flex to try out. Not sure how durable it is but essentially ist is clay that dries flexible instead of hard. This way I can sculpt them to the exact shape and size required and if the material does turn out to be durable, they will be less prone to breakage...

Oh well, I am so weak.... Resistance was futile.
Got on the waitlist this morning, but after searching the web, got it from a retailer for under retail, including shipping.

If anyone is interested in the non-ex version, Popcultcha in Australia has it, and they ship to the US. You will pay a total of $1325 shipped, which is only about $70-80 more than what it would cost you to get it from Sideshow.

thats not true. I've paid import fees for a package from canada before. There must be a price range for it.

Prolly DHL too? I never ordered any high price items from popcultcha due to the fear of getting popped for import fees.

I got a Vader life size bust and another prop from them during the holiday discounts and was not charged. Order came via post office even though it was in 3 massive boxes.

P2 repaint by Kenny Alasandro... :clap

"Did some work on Sideshow's P2. Added some detail to the armor and skin tones.
Also put the extremely fiddly quills into his head and repainted the base.
Not drastically different but its definitely an improvement."

looks better for sure. I'm wondering if he had to remove the netting on the legs to touch up those spots?

Love that repaint by Alasandro. Significant improvement at the brow and base... and those quills. Gotta have quills!
I wish I had the skill and I would also fill-in the space between the teeth. Texture it to be the same as the surrounding surface then paint it the same color OR file them down. Either way, I'd get rid of them if I could.

That looks damn good. About as good as this piece will ever look without actually resculpting. Maybe if it looked like that straight out of the factory I wouldn't be returning mine. Unless someone here wants it, of course.

Base look ace! Did he redo the pattern on the brows? I can't tell. Also the wrist blades look like they were chromed?

Also curious if anyone is getting the masked portrait re-painted? Its painted a dark bronze color and I believe it should be a copper finish.

Buy a few cheap kits and practice. You'll soon get into it and want to spend hundreds on airbrushes and compressors etc ;) It's another sickness just like the collectibles market...
