It's inaccurate, it's not the best paint job.
Is it worth $1,200 plus postage and 20% V.A.T? No! Not at all.
Is it worth $1,200 to my door? Probably.

Nothing hypocritical at all. It was overpriced, simple as.

Discounts happen all the time in every industry. Do people who paid full price throw their dummy out the pram? No.

Some people need to get a grip with the whining.

I hate getting involved in stupid ****, however I am going to stand up for those who paid full price, even though I probably wont keep this I still am feeling a bit taken advantage of because it is 240 dollars 50 or 100 I can live with however it is not so please think about it, if you ordered this piece and can honestly say that would not get you a little heated then your a much better person than me. I am letting it go because there are better things in life than a statue. Either way each person who bought this should get something in return. Seeing as all the others who were bashing this made this sold out get a discount that is sad. So it must be about the money!!! Your right discounts happen all the time however not right away when the item just came out so. I mean no disrespect to any one on here I hope each person fells happy with what they have. However pple making comments on this link about the pple who bought this are whining stop because your not in those shoes!!!

What they should've done, and should always do, is make the regular edition cost a little bit less than the exclusive. For example, on this P2 maq EX $1200 Reg $1000.

Saw it in person today, as I mentioned before, it is certainly a good piece despite all the inaccurate parts, the size and the details both are indeed very impressive, and the paint job is quite good as the sideshow's standard.
Overall, if you're not trying to compare it with P1 maquette or wolf lsf, this item should satisfy you.

No way is the Ex worth $200 more.
Didn't Exclusives used to cost $10-20 more?

My local retailer had the Reg up for around £850, I was tempted.
After it was pulled they put it back up for £1,000.

Most Regular Editions go to Authorised Dealers across the globe so Sideshow are, effectively, selling them for less.

In response to those who said "would you have ordered at 999$", it's hard to say since the issues are too many, but those 200$+ are a noticeable difference. I get that these statues are not food but for that exact reason I think some people have lost touch with the value of money.
Let me share an example, as an international: an $1240 item costs me $344 in import fees if I wanted the Exclusive. At $1040, costs me 290$. That would be 200$ saved on retail price plus another $54 saved in fees that I can put towards fixing the flaws. Savings would be even higher by purchasing a regular through a retailer if the price point was 999$, probably I'd find one at about $1100-1200 delivered.
It's one thing to spend a total of $1500 for a statue that comes like this, and a whole other thing to spend $1500 for the statue AND some touch ups that would definitely improve it. Stuff like giving the proper copper-bronze finish to the mask, better face markings to the unmasked head, a metallic finish to the wrist blades and so on. Things that would make the sight of this piece bearable for a while before focusing on the issues.

I guess all of our problems have been put the rest I just found this review that one up today from BMR and based on what I'm hearing he saying this is one of the best statues he's ever seen and that we might have another wolf predator Grail on our hands here.
I was also skeptical when the production issues happened but I ended up purchasing this because I'm a predator fan I am so happy that I got the exclusive and now it's on the waitlist if this indeed does become one of the best players to choose ever produced it will be incredible

I love Jazz apples, they taste like pairs (which I don't actually like) They are weird but awesome. And thank you, but stop worrying about me, I helped Dave out willingly and was more than happy to do so when he asked, it was kind of fun more than a chore tbh. I'm certain his input is always genuine and given the go ahead, things would have changed for the better but as we all know well by now it just wasn't to be. As it is, it ended up looking decent, I think that point is getting lost in all of the emotions, this is clearly a cool statue and I imagine it will impress in person despite many of the reservations lots of us have. so I'm mostly concentrating on the better parts now he is on order and about to ship. Thank you for the kind words though, all of my blood just went to my face. The feeling is mutual.

After BMR's review on YouTube I have to say that it is in fact an impressive piece. The paint application seems to be getting better and better, which is great, but at the same time frustrating :/ as they should all match the quality of the productions pictures sideshow released.
After talking to my friend who can paint on par with Dunaway, he has confidently told me that he'll do a complete head repaint if I'm not happy for a small fee lol, which is awesome! He can also add the quills professionally. So I've joined the wait list for the exclusive version. Let's see if it's meant to be!

The only true problem I have with the piece is the bio helmet and unmasked head, if that was the same sculpt and paint app like the movie, this thing would have been perfect. I am still glad I got one though

at this stage, I think the chance of a waitlist conversion is slim to none unless it is a return.

everyone who initially pre-ordered would have already cancelled a few weeks ago if they didn't want it. everyone else has received it unless it is a flex-pay. the new orders got a huge discount and are unlikely to cancel.
