Ok folks...a little news for you....Pre-Orders will NOT be happening for the Batman Begins Figure during Comic-Con month but WILL occur sometime after July.

Yes, I know that means more waiting (and this isn't the news you wanted to hear), but perhaps this will help with some of y'alls stress levels for a little while...hopefully...*crossing fingers*

It says on there production page to be looking for updates in their weekly newsletter, so I'd be looking for some info tonight. Plus Alex just posted about the Batman figure not going up for PO during the month of Comic-Con. We should get good notice about these going up for PO.

What sucks is they leave us hanging for weeks and as soon as you let your guard down, thinking its not going to happen they release it and by the time you find out it is sold out.
So i wish they would let us know if we should keep checking every hour for the next two weeks.

Open this thread for more than a pissy rant and read through it a bit, and you'd see that that release you just complained about was not going to be it to begin with. That's part of what these threads are here for.

uhhhh.... how the hell do u know it wasnt goin to be shadow pred when all they tell u is there is a new hot toys 12 in fig the day b4? they only preview the sideshow stuff.

that still doesnt tell u when the actual fig will b out. that worthless newsletter usually comes way late after the fig has already been posted & by then (especially w/ the ht preds) u might b SOL.

There's one thing we can all do instead of just relying on the newsletter email. They post the newsletter on the newsletter site, accessible from the main page sideshowtoy.com . And I did the following:

1) Use Google Chrome and install the plugin: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pemhgklkefakciniebenbfclihhmmfcd .

2) Go to sideshowtoy.com, login to the newsletter page on top

3) Select the page monitor option on Chrome and select to monitor that page for changes. It works because it uses a token in the URL instead of cookies. If I gave you my logged in URL you would be able to change my newsletter options without even knowing my password, so careful with that, don't give the URL to anyone. That token expires after sometime though, so you have to renew your login from time to time. I think it lasts a whole day though.

4) When Chrome detects a change to the page a notification appears on the desktop and a sound is played (you can modify the options for the plugin, including the time interval to check modifications)

I hope this helps. Unfortunately it doesn't send emails, os SMSs, but it's a help already.

EDIT: When you renew the login the URL will be different, so you have to remove the old URL from the plugin and add the new one. You can have a false alarm though, as it will detect as a change when the token expires, but it also helps you to renew the login . Good luck!

First, it says that they will update us in a newsletter with info about ordering them. They haven't done that yet. And two, I highly doubt they're going to blindly put these two exclusives up without a little warning, and it won't be "act fast, they're up right now!"

Take that for what it's worth.

It's already been confirmed by Alex you can relax all month about Batman. Still nothing solid on Predator yet.

Does this mean that Batman and Shadow Predator will be a regular release much like T-1000 as Sarah Connor and Mark VI bust last time?

It will more than likely be a regular release type figure (eg: Not an item offered as a ATTENDEE/NON-ATTENDEE Con exclusive) but as I'm not 100% when/how it will be offered through the site, I cannot give you a concrete yes or no answer....just a guess.
