It would be great if hot toys made this a regular release. That would really f scalpers in the a. And it would show collectors that they care about us. Hint hint hot toys.

The idea is that, scalpers aside, they might not sell enough if it were a regular release. There are enough people who are already saying it's an easy pass. It was five seconds of film, making it an exclusive is the best way to sell them since they won't have to produce as many.

What KIND of exclusive they make it is a different story... but either way, I remember when the LOST Pred was discounted at a lot of places (hence no longer making the other clanmembers regular releases).

This is completely contrary and makes no sense to everything we heard about this figure yesterday. And putting up two highly sought figures at the same PPO seems like you are asking for a disaster.

Hopefully this will be clarified further next week in the Newsletter before this goes up for PPO if, in fact, it does.

I just wish SS would ship by EMS. Fedex, UPS and the other couriers get ridiculous taxes for european people. At least in Portugal it's absolutely ridiculous. I don't understand what's the problem for them to ship by EMS which comes in the common mail service and is not guaranteed to get the customs taxes. But the main part is that apart from customs taxes, if sent by EMS it doesn't get the courier taxes, which are a ridiculous amount. I'm talking about having to pay an extra $50-$60 apart from customs taxes. And when sent by courier the customs taxes are guaranteed unlike when received in common mail. EMS is express mail and has tracking number. If SS offers EMS shipping they'll get more customers from Europe. I wanted Shadow Predator, but I don't want to pay about $120 (or a bit more) in a sum of customs and courier taxes. Sorry, it's expensive and ridiculous... I'm probably going to pass on Shadow Predator just due to the damn courier shipping...

EDIT: Just want to clarify that what I said above is only for shipments from outside the European Union. UPS and the other couriers for shipments inside Europe are ok.

That's what PPO is

I thought PPO simply meant you were registered for the Newsletter and could Pre-order when it went up at the announced time. I didn't think PPO necessarily meant having the preorder streamlined (meaning no access to the rest of their site).

The SDCC Iron Man Secret Project PPO wasn't streamlined on their site initially. It wasn't until their servers were bombarded that they switched it over to a streamlined ordering process about 20 mins after it went up.

I could be wrong, but I think there is a distinction between the two and not all PPO's are streamlined.

The Mark IV Secret project was a PPO and it didn't start streamline.

It's not known if it will have a deposit at this time.

Both items are expected to ship sometime around our Spooktacular event in October.
