Sometimes I forget I used to own Hot Toys figures like the Dog Alien, Alien Warrior, AvP:R Warrior, Hudson and Drake....Billy Sole....huh.

I have all my pred-related stuff still - right from the very first releases.

Didn't get their "Billy" though, because (if I remember correctly) it looked nothing like the actor? (character rights issues?)

Yeah, they didn't get the likeness rights, much like the Colonial Marines. Although the sculpt was ''in the ballpark'' underneath the paint - kinda like the sculpt for Drake from Aliens. Hudson on the other hand looked nothing at all like Bill Paxton.

Predator-wise I used to have the clean and BD City Hunter Predators (back when they had to be assembled), the original Jungle Hunter they made, standard Wolf Predator (1.0), Cleaner Kit Wolf Predator (also the 1.0 version), Berserker, Falconer and Classic Predator - and I had 3 Dutch figures.

It was when they showed City Hunter 2.0 that I decided to call it quits on Predator at 1/6. I didn't like that sculpt at all. Although, at the time I was also looking for avenues of cutting back because I was engaged to be married. Hah, that's something else I forget about

I'm not surprised. Although he's not as bad as some of them out there. It's like they are having a competition to see who can be the most negative. Collectively they have become "The View" of the geek community

Please be good. It doesn't even have to be brilliant. We just need a solid 6/10 film.

His comments about bobble headed Predators and "slimmer" than before are interesting.
With the exception of the weird body builder Predators in AvP1 and the monstrosity in Shane Black's movie, they are already pretty lean.
It'll interesting to get a proper look at this "feral" pred.
Ideally I'd like this movie to do something fresh, not just the same old hunting humans in the woods but at this point, it'll be a triumph if we could just get a solid Predator movie.

All it needs to be is fun and not stupid. That's an exquisitely low bar, far lower than I have for any other franchise.

Yet Shane Black somehow managed to duck it.

I figured at first, they just didn’t want it on D+ but it’s streaming there too so yeah, maybe something to do with former Fox stuff?
