Is that supposed to make it less stupid? :dunno That's a sorry tagline for this movie.

That would only work if she somehow survived long enough for Predator Bob to get frustrated enough to where it gave up and walked away from it's hunt. :lol "F this.... I'm tired. It's not fun anymore" (a quote from Predator Bob).

Surviving is not the same as winning/being victorious.

I just can't get over those lousy hands.

Check out the close-ups as the Predator preps King Willie's skull. The hands look great no matter the pose, angle, or object they're interacting with.

Compare that to ADI's hands. Whether they're resting on the creature's leg or grabbing something, they look ridiculous. Reminds me of the wired hands from the first Hot Toys AVP Predators, but even those could be futzed to look more acceptable if I recall. :lol

Frenchmen you say?... Did they have sticks & stones? 😆 🤣
For the love of...... I said I NEVER watched the movie. :slap :rotfl

And yeah, some Frenchmen with single shot muskets isn't much of a step up from sticks and stones. Muskets were Far less accurate in the 1700's than a skilled archer. Back then a charging Bear was far more deadly.

I saw it last night. I enjoyed it, it was a decent Predator film. A home run of a sequel like TG2 was? No, but I’d agree with others that it’s the best installment since P2. The lead actress was great, and I really liked the setting with the Indians. The grizzly bear fight imo was a great Predator scene to demonstrate a Predator’s true strength and the way it spooked the lead actress’s character given how easily it dispatched of it. However, I agree with other assessments that like in all Predator movies, there’s scenes that depict it as being a total badass that can’t be killed (as the lead actress states at one point), to being a bumbling buffoon when the plot calls for it.

Design wise I thought it was pretty cool. It sorta resembled that of a Super Predator in that it had the same tall and lanky physique, and had very little body armor except for a loin cloth. Not the best design, better than the Fugitive Predator design, but it was unique and had a pretty cool arsenal as well.

Overall not a bad film. The CGI scenes at times were a little crappy though imo.

Oh and I also agree that I wish we’d see a film where the Predator succeeds in his hunt for once as opposed to starting out badass, then suddenly having a brain fart.

It really was lighting in a bottle regarding what they achieved with the practical effects in the first two films. The best there was and ever will be.
