I was told by Jonathan McFarland that there would be no tracking number as he said that they had just started using the company and the fact that there was no tracking number was one of the issues that they hoped to change.
If they are supposed to phone us to arrange delivery, they will need to phone us today in order to be able to deliver tomorrow. Has anybody received a phone call?

if these were shipped yesterday, i would not expect a phone call today, with it being pallet delivery i would expect delivery by friday, if nothing shows up friday and no phone call is recived that will be the last straw. because i hate being lied to and putting up with people who carnt do there job.

Well I just cancelled my Iron man 1:1 rather take my chances with ebay!

Tobe honest I am fed up with chasing this now!If I dont get this on Friday I will cease all trading with Play and I am sure this escapade has gotten enough attention to warn others of Plays complete lack of customer service.

A couple of generic emails to the what? 10-20 customers max I expect is all it would have taken to help diffuse the situation.
I would gladly switch to FP / Ebay and pay the premium!I expect a high percentage of Plays' collectible/Gadget customers peruse this and the other forums that have this well documented.
If Play do actually look at these forums I suggest you get of your arses and deal with your many disgruntled customers as I certainly will not be using or recommending them again if my item isnt in hand Friday.

I think thats a great idea Brett...just show Play that they can't yank people around like this!
I have never really had a problem with Play before but even now (and even though I am not directly involved in any way) I am getting turned off them by the obvious debacle they have created here...So I totally agree when you say this will turn off alot of normal customers as well!

Raider and Brettb I hope you get it Friday. Brettb - kudos to you for cancelling all business with them if it is a no show. This is the sort of thing that you only here about on Watchdog. This should have been a very simple transaction.

My advice would be to write to Cinemaquette after this is all over and complain. Detail everything that happened, and hopefully Play will never be able to suply these again. [email protected] is the email. address.
