If they were to add some quills as you suggested im pretty sure they would break off in transit or atleast be damaged, something so delicate and small would have a rough time with the postal service.

To do the quills in scale with the sculpt would make them extremely thin and fragile, like you said. Just applying them to the figure would be a real chore, not to mention trying to ship them to everyone without breakage. Adding the quills later might be a "fun" and challenging project for somebody with advanced modeling skills, and plenty of time on their hands, though!

This dio is very cool, this one and ALIENS are my favorite in the Alien-Predator dio series so far, I can't wait to see Predator 2. I would imagine more of these dios are going to be held back for SDCC at this point.

Sideshow never has dates really. Either an item appears in the Coming In 30 Days section of their newsletter or you get a notice in your email for 20-25 or less. Sometimes, if a piece is delayed, they'll also list in the newsletter what the new release is, sometimes a month, sometimes a quarter. At the moment, this is still just Q2.

I think the unmasked sculpt looks like crap! But atleast the masked sculpt looks good.

I dont have any qualms about the unmasked sculpt except that it could show more ferocity. Just get the exclusive since it's the same price as the reg.

It just doesn't look screen accurate to me.And I already have the Ex on order.
