when i started driving we where paying $1.09-11 a gallon, ^^^^^ five bucks would last us a round trip, now $5 bucks those'nt even make the niddle move.........

Gas was under a dollar a gallon in Texas in October of 2001.

yeah i remember when i'd fill up.... and get change back from a $10 bill. now that doesn't get me quarter of a tank. B.S.!!! seriously, i can't afford to drive anymore. i sit at home and vegetate...i have been riding my bike more often, but i honestly don't know how they expect people to afford the rising gas prices.
