Quick question... this'll be my first Sideshow Dio, and I was wondering... how does the Pred attach to the base/tree? I guess what I'm really asking is, will it need anything to keep it secure?

It just plugs right in.

Naah this is the poor mans maquette:

The highly detailed micro machines predator maquette.

This dio looks to be the Poor Man's Maquette.

Personally, I won't drop a grand on something (besides the HDTV I bought for my mother) unless it can drive me places, cook me eggs, and do my house cleaning.

The maquette, and CM are both mindblowing, but I can't justify myself buying them when they cost more than my car did.

I rather have a CM predator than a car.

25 CM Preds is what my car cost:horror:horror

As much as I want that CM Pred. there is no way I will afford it right now.

I accept defeat when it is due.
