. I guess I can't blame the guy for trying. Now enough of that, here are some pics. As you can see, the diorama is tiny compared to the Hot Toys Pred. I also included a pic of it next to the old Kenner cinemacast, I think they called it.
Try to think of it this way. Hypothetically you're a rich, lazy turd. You wanted a Sideshow Predator Ex-diorama. Because you're a lazy turd, you didn't order it in time, and now you have to buy it from a "scalper" or in the case of collectibles...a flipper. Since you're rich, and someone else has technically "done the work" for you, it's worth it to you to order it from them. Since its sold out and you just gotta have it. Happens all the time.
Some rich people get rich because they are too busy making money to do anything else, so they pay people to do things for them. I have a friend who does this all the time with everything from collectibles to sporting events to rock concerts. Most of his clients are wealthy procrastinators. They're out there. I'm just not one of them. I thought one of the members on this board who was asking a really high price (IMO) for an Iron man comiquette was out of his mind. Turns out he was smarter than I gave him credit for. Never underestimate the stupidity of the idle rich.

Well not tiny, it could work if you put the diorama slighty more to the background creating the illusion of distance. Thanks by the way.

Are the alien and predator dios not in scale with each other ?.
I recall in pitus latest video when he the alien 3 dio next to a 12 inch figure it was bigger than it and I'm sure pred 1 is bigger than the dog alien right ?.

I hope a fellow freaks waitlist converted as I canceled my Exclusive a few weeks ago. With the Cinemaquette coming, I just lost all interest in this. I am not big into statues or dioramas and that will be my only statue. Now bring on the HT's P1!
Sooo...just seeing if this thread still has a pulse haha. I guess the rest of us are waiting on the Exclusive version now. Now that I'm well past financial concern with it, I'm pretty anxious to get this.

The exclusive and regular editions of a statue are usually released about the same time, correct? I wonder what's up
Depends on what the Exclusive is and how tricky it is I suppose. The paint apps for the Predator face are a bit more detailed and complex than some exclusives I've seen, perhaps they had some production issues to work out on it and they figured why delay the Regulars on folks when they're done. Saved me though, I'd have had to cancel if it came out same time, this afforded me room and now I can keep my order.

Since this is delayed will it still go through the same 10-20 notification and all that red tape before shipping? Or will they just ship it out and send us tracking emails? Just curious. I'm figuring the 10-20 day notice route will still apply.
At minimum they'll still send out a 3-5 day processing notice, I've never had anything in 50+ orders come from Sideshow without at least that much warning.

I would have bought it if it came with a "roaring" head along with the helmeted one...ala the maquette...
The exclusive has been delayed until September. That's a bummer.

Not likely, but what if the delay was because they redid the Ex. head to have roaring mandibles, that'd be sweet.
