Try to think of it this way. Hypothetically you're a rich, lazy turd. You wanted a Sideshow Predator Ex-diorama. Because you're a lazy turd, you didn't order it in time, and now you have to buy it from a "scalper" or in the case of collectibles...a flipper. Since you're rich, and someone else has technically "done the work" for you, it's worth it to you to order it from them. Since its sold out and you just gotta have it. Happens all the time.
Some rich people get rich because they are too busy making money to do anything else, so they pay people to do things for them. I have a friend who does this all the time with everything from collectibles to sporting events to rock concerts. Most of his clients are wealthy procrastinators. They're out there. I'm just not one of them. I thought one of the members on this board who was asking a really high price (IMO) for an Iron man comiquette was out of his mind. Turns out he was smarter than I gave him credit for. Never underestimate the stupidity of the idle rich.
