yeah thats a good alternative, but id like to have all HT parts if i can, plus i cant see what cregs custom spine looks like in those shots,
Does anyone know if the classic head fits on the P1 body?

from what i remember with my old P1 it has a differentsize neck conector and ball joint, might work, but might look goofy,lol

It's a different sized neck connector... I tried to get it to fit b/c I was considering buying an xtra classic head for my p1.

Thanks for that bud. That's exactly what I was thinking too. I was gonna put the classic head on P1 with my TD bio. I wanted it not so much for the face underneath, but mostly for how the new dreads look.
Oh well. I'm still happy with my P1 and don't really see the need to upgrade yet. As nice as the Classic is and as much as I really want it, in the end I know I'd just want to turn him into P1 and I just can't swing doing that right now with everything else I have coming. I know eventually we'll see a P1 2.0 from HT so I can wait.
Can you contact them to find out what the **** is going on? Thats ridiculous.

I personally don't care for the conversions I've seen of classic to p1, I know I'm probably in the minority on this one. I've been modifying my old p1 alot, now that his value has dropped so much I feel alot more comfortable experimenting on him. I'm actually pretty happy with the results so far. I pulled aout some of his dreads and rearranged them to flow foward and put some of the longer ones in the back up front, looks great
. I never would have had the guts to do this stuff when he was fetching $500.00 on evilbay.
I actually agree with you about the conversions. I also don't like them all that much for some reason.

I dont care for the conversions either, but vinlwj's is the best I've seen. looks like he painted the bones, replaced the strings and placed them very well.

These are pics of my lost predator I pulled every dread out with a pair of tweezers and then put them in the freezer so they would harden and be easier to reinsert with super glue. It is a very VERY tedious process.
and here are a few of my p1 predator, I included a comparison photo of him next to an unaltered p1 (both have had there dreads treated using the boiling water method). pulling the dreads and reinserting is the only permanent solution I know of. I also did some heavy mods on the helmet.

Yeah I did the pull out and reglue method on my P1. Some of them didn't come out cleanly though and they tore. Plus theres some visible glue marks but I live with it.

My second classic is on its way from toys2 now. I ordered from them way back when thinking I would get it first from them.times have changed I guess. Seems like sideshow is getting everything just as fast. Anyway this will make three predator 1's in my collection.
