I thought I was waiting a long time too when the HK sellers were delayed. If I was still waiting now I'd be going crazy.

I am from Asia and I am still waiting for mine, I am getting immune to all this waiting.
I'm relatively new to the hobby but so far my UK dealer has got me Captain America, Jack Sparrow & Christopher Reeves Superman before SideShow even started shipping their's so the Classic Pred is very much a one off (in my relatively short experience of the hobby anyway)
To give OSB some props I know Dino Last got his Captain America and Superman from them and he got his around the same time as I got mine from Collectablesdirect (I just know a lot of people that didn't get Captain America till after Christmas from them as well) and according to OSB's facebook they should be getting their first allocation of 89 Bats very soon as well whereas Collectablesdirect I dont think are getting their allocation until end of April so I guess it's a bit of a case of swings and roundabouts

Just saw this news from OSB regarding the Classic Predator:
"Classic Preds... a shipment is due soon, being processed in HK, most prob couple weeks wait. Some OSB LayAway invoices will be sent over the weekend.
89' Keaton Batman, Should have some ready for shipment to OSB early March.
Again, this delay is due to Hot Toys lack of production run, not enough for demand. Sorry"
So, it will take a bit more, but at least now we have some news regarding our pre-orders .

Ouch a couple of weeks!
They should do what Lee does, and have different suppliers for different items. I cant wait for mine by Thursday!

So going by that statement, does Hot Toys wait to see what the interest is once full specs and photos have been released?

Yeah, it's a pain to wait... especially when it almost seems everyone else has it, but I can wait
. I even got a new one this week, I got the Wolf Predator (Cleaner version) from a great fellow freak from Geece . Amazing figure BTW, I keep digging more the older preds, contrary to most people
