look, no disrespect meant to u as a mod, but i really don't feel it was necessary to edit my last post so extensively.

do i not have the right to express annoyance that the other thread got closed due to the irresponsible behavior of a few? i wasn't even naming anyone specifically. nor was the intention of my post meant to stir sh-t up, unlike those who consistently persisted in exactly that.

so much for the freedom of speech.

The whole point is to move on from all of that, not continuing it, not commenting on what happened. I have asked repeatedly for people to discuss the movie and in a civilized manner, and I said if folks have issues with the bad apples ruining things, PM them, I am trying to keep the threads focused and civil because the smalleast off topic posts starts it all up again.

If you're so bothered by the other one closing, going on about that in here is a quick way to close this one. The threads are for discussing the movie, the other stuff is BS with no place here.

Sorry if it s been mentioned elsewhere,but does anybody know if theres an "Art of Predators" book coming out soon?

I haven't heard a peep about a Predators art book. The studio is really keeping this under wraps, but I'd love to get my hands on one. Other than the Dark Horse comics, I can't find any info on a book.

Just got my tix for the midnight show on Thursday. Can't wait!

Any word on when the Mr. Black Mask is going up for sale? Thanks in advance.

I think I may be a little too excited for this film. Not that I think I won't enjoy it, but I keep looking at the calendar to see if it is Thursday yet...It also doesn't help that my local Toysrus is probably getting the figures in that day too.

I'm on holiday too this week so they're going to be looooong days LOL

Can't wait,really looking forward to the film AND all the figures that are comin'

IMO, that doesn't mean much. P2 was a decent action movie but was lame as a Predator movie.

Amazing....however...this disappoints me...

Their blood is still green, there is absolutely no mention of them cutting up prey and genetically altering themselves to become better hunters

Read the review. He said they wont look as ugly and rubbery as in the pictures we have seen.

Not disagreeing, but the overall concept of a Predator being beaten down by Danny Glover when it took all of Team Testosterone to beat the first one is just downright silly.

How could you possibly go for a leak during a Predator movie !?

Believe it or not, when I went to see the press preview of Some Kind of Monster, critics got up before the Mustane scene and came back after and then later, in their review, stressed that it was lame that a major band would address all the superficial issues while ignoring the substantial issue that is Mustane.

Well the only explanation would be that it was a newbie Predator. But I can live with that since we saw a kickass clan at the end.

Though I do actually believe the movie would have been better if they had cut down on the hip-hop style and cheeseness, and make the predator put up a better fight. Make it more serious.

none of that stuff really bothered me at all; I mean he did only have one arm in the end, and you have to take into account that the P2 didnt have the same camouflage advantage as P1. And in the first one, the commandos didnt have infared like they did in P2, so again, made him easier to be found.

From the reviews I've read it doesn't seem like a Female Predator makes an appearance. I had thought that they were finally going to reveal one in Predators, guess I heard wrong.
I hope someday they get around to creating a Female Predator.

Also, does anyone have any production art on the "Stick Man" Alien? I'd love to get an idea on what it looks like.
