No he didn't mention anything about pricing as yet just that a prototype with be shown for preorder.

Ok for the sake of 'officialness' Posting all the 'new' pics in this post

not sold...eyes forehead, face shape,paint are amazing but the mouth don't convince me at all..and this is in my opinion one of the rainman's ("defects/problems") in some figures (sculpting the mouth) I've seen the same problem in the fight club pitt and dexter's head ....any chance to correct it ?

What your saying might be true, although I do not see what you are pointing out. I think this is his best HS to date.

I think its better than Eagleeye, but I am sure someone would respond to MY post and call me crazy.

Its all a matter of personal taste, but like I said I respect your opinion. Its borderline disrespectful, but honest nonetheless.

I personally think this is one of Rainman's best head sculpts.

I think the sculpt suffers from too much stylization. The smile is way too pronounced and should be more subtle.

To me this sculpt is perfect!

Wouldn't change a thing and I am not sure I would want pointed out where the deficiencies are.

I'd much rather enjoy this sculpt in bliss

I like the sculpt but see a tad bit of stylization, Rainman is one of my favorite sculptors and with some sculpts such as his pee wee, Daniel day lewises and Tuco I see nothing but the character. And with some they look like a product of his specific style. Alex, Hannibal, rhas among others, they look like the same person sculpted them, Like they could be briothers...they almost look a little like animated characters in some way, hard to explain.

It's a wonderful likeness and head and something ill gladly take. Also not something I'm going to make a fuss about but I do think it could be improved in in ways if Rainman felt so inclined. If not that's fine my main concern is not having to settle for that plain Jane blue jumpsuit.

Thats odd because honestly IMO his GBU guys' likeness weren't that great at all.
We all know Clint was the weakest at par... Van Cleef was the best likeness amongst the three and Tuco too was just better than Blondie.. which isnt much to speak for its likeness. But yes his DDL sculpts are the best, even Dude is one of his best likeness...

Don't misunderstand me, I think is quite good but in my opinion rainman's style is too cartoonish (I don't want to offend anyone),I've seen a lot of heads of rainman in hands (A friend of mine is a fan) and the mouth of hopkins is different than this, is very thin.The smirk in this head has something of innatural not humanlike...as you said is only my personal taste but I have the old angdor head (is a little bit cartoonish too) and in my opinion has a better likeness than this and for me eagleye is the best sculpt of rainman..a special mention to lee van cleef the bad

p.s. I don't want to post the image for the andgor head for respect to iminime & rainman but check by yourself and you will know what I mean
