I honestly don't see a lot of change in the sculpt. And what was changed, made likeness worse, not better. Very disappointing.
The mouth (which was the biggest issue) looks practically unchanged and still very awkward. The nose got bigger though and now he looks even more like Ralph Finnes 
Frankly I think the sculpt is lost at this point and starting from scratch would probably be the best thing to do. The smile look just isn't working. His sideways smirk would be better IMO and far easier to pull off right than the smile is apparently.
But the paint looks, much, much, much better!

Denny got back with me and suggested that the non-bloody sculpt with eyes looking down was not doable.

He said it is difficult to prepare different paint options. Maybe he just doesn't want to open that can of worms, where folks start requesting specific paint looks. If that is the case, then I can understand it. But of course, it makes most sense for that scene if he does not have blood spattered on his face.

Yeah, looking at the shots on the Iminime's page of the previous version... that one definitely did NOT have paint on the forehead or anywhere that would be visible while wearing the mask.

Can you at least offer bloody sculpts with no VISIBLE blood above the mask? I'm not sure I understand why this is a big deal to do.

Can't answer for them but I would guess the can of worms mentioned above. These are custom figures, but they are making 50 or 60 at a time? If they start giving options on blood/no blood someone is going to want something they aren't willing to do like looking to the left for example. Should be a simple thing to do the blood last and just leave it off the number of heads ordered without it. They may not want to deal with the logistics of that. So now your options are living with what they offer, have the head repainted to your liking, or buying a different head and having it painted like you want. Expect Denny and his company to start behaving more like Hot Toys or some of the other bigger companies. If they want to continue doing the numbers they are now or more they will have to ignore a lot of the fan input, stick to thier plan or they will never be able to finish anything.
