Seems like you would have to be a truly hardcore fan of this character to want to go all out like that. Personally, this is a character and films I enjoy, but this ain't Travis Bickle.

To me it's every bit neck and neck to Travis Bickle and as a figure/sculpt/price, and overall value if you ask me this figure beats the RM Bickle in almost every category. I'm really pumped for Bickle too though.

O-Ren is easy. So many options on the Bride, so I still haven't figured out what I'm going to get. I'd actually be fine with the setup below only. Any possibility of a KB2 black outfit?

Even though I've spent a boatload on Rainman's Pulp Fiction I'd really like to see Iminime's take.

For me, though the Nurse Elle is fun the KB Part 2 is way mire badass and Iconic.

The next two have to be Bill and Elle, not sure how anyone could even argue otherwise hierarchy wise!

I think we will see Black Suit version Elle with suitcase of money and black mamba and bud's sword (altho i believe in the scene she's using Kiddo's and Kiddo is using Buds).

I think we will see a Kill Bill 2 end scene Bill with Silver revolver, Tranq gun and sword. Maybe a blood option after Bride does the 5 point palm. Maybe a flute too.

Maybe, just maybe, a end scene bride to go with it with the shorter hair and bangs.

I personally think Bud was equally important to Elle in the story. He actually probably had more screen time. I know he wouldn't make a very attractive figure, but. . .

either way...i consider Iminime up there with the likes of a RM or a Beto...why?...well...not only are we getting within the 99% in the likeness department...but Iminime is/continues and HAS improved everything inhouse...my biggest beef was the clothing followed by the huge shoes they were sending out with prior releases...now...i can proudly say that they improved on those fronts...not to mention the overall retail value is GREAT!!!!

By the way, I never suggested this figure wasn't a good deal for the price--I think it is, particularly considering the sculpt. Nor did I mean to try and make this a Rainman/Iminime debate (was just responding to Wake there). I would agree that Iminime is nailing likenesses more consistently than most others out there. My only point was about the nature of the character, and whether it is worthy of, say, 3 different versions on display. And that is subjective, but to my mind, it seems like Kiddo would be on par with someone like Neo from Matrix, or even Bill the Butcher, where some hardcore fans would want multiple displays, but not the more casual fans of the film (which is going to be the primary collecting base). But Bickle is such a screen icon, with two very distinctive and memorable looks. As is, say, Luke Skywalker, Ledger Joker, or the T-800 from Terminator. I don't think there are too many geek characters that fit into that category in my mind.

Not for the time being on the DOGS. What happens with figures in simple suits is that people tend to only want the sculpts because they can bash the suit themselves.. Which means less profit.

Funny, because it seems like the bulk of early Iminime stuff was guys in suits--Seven guys, Agent Smith, Tuxedo Wayne, Alfred, Ra's, Gordon, Bateman.

As far as value for money I think The Bride surpasses Bickle in just about every way but in terms of how iconic the character is and important the character is to me its a no brainer. Bickle wins by a landslide!

It is true that the Reservoir guys had more basic suits, but your post made me think that Iminime was moving more away from guys in suits. Most of their more recent releases (barring Narrator) suggest that this is the case, and I think it's a good move.

I think that comes with confidence in the tailoring team. And a willingness to push boundaries.

Maybe im letting my enjoyment of the Kill Bill movies color my opinion, but I dont think Taxi Driver is that great. If that movie came out today nobody would bat an eye at it. Not even on the festival circuit. I know some of you are cringing at my words. LOL

what do you guys think about both outfits?

I'm still undecided, I tried to convince myself that the track suit was more iconic, but I think now the biker suit looks better and I could still buy a cheap track suit on ebay, they don't look that bad compared to this one I must say. The sculpt assures you a great figure anyway. It's just too bad you can't buy both sculpts (normal and bloody) with only one set.

To be honest I dont think I'd ever display a clean look however I would want the clean sculpt so for me my ideal set would consist of

1x Clean Sculpt
1x Blooded Sculpt
1x Blooded Tracksuit
1x Biker Suit

I'd definitely want a setup where I had both the track suit and biker look
