Looks great I am glad both these figures don't have rooted hair. I don't thin it suits female 1/6th figures as they look like Barbie dolls IMO. However, I guess sculpted hair does make it look less realistic.

i really appreciate Omar's support on this .. The details & the pics are insane .. Tbh i was a bit shocked when i heard about iminime new COA's strategy .. Which shows the figure serial without mentioning how many were made!

It varies figure to figure but I think for this one sculpted was def the way to go.
Now I don't like that at all! I realise Iminime's figures are always going to be limited but it's nice to know where your piece stands in the run.

The sculpted hair looks sweet. I mentioned wanting "bangs" for the dolly hair iMiniMe seem to be experimenting with, because that's something that I read they were doing anyway, but alternatively, I'd be happy with the "bangs" hair style, that matches the BluRay cover, be sculpted as well. I'd prefer a lighter blonde colour as well, if iMiniMe somehow went as far as to do something like that

the reason for this is that iminime is facing a serious action from the licensors ..so they've decided not to show the total figures they made.

That's probably A reason, but I wouldn't be surprised if part of this was Denny wanting to match demand with supply, as Sideshow now does with it's "TBD" edition sizes. With Iminime, I don't think low edition sizes are a concern for collectors in the way they are with, say, Rainman or Beto, where folks pay a real premium, in part, for the exclusivity. I'm not sure some of Iminime's earlier figures ever had firm edition sizes released (Ra's, Ripley).

As far as I understand it the main reason is in fact to remain vague as to the total amount in the editions. The production capabilities arent such that Iminime is all of a sudden going to make 500 or something. Its still a small team of talented artists making handmade artwork.

That's true, but not committing themselves could be the difference between 75 or 100, or even 50, depending on the demand. I know it would miff a few collectors, but it's a smart business move if he does that IMO.

keep it vague...they can't bring suit to you...if they don't have a threshold amount which is usually something over say 20-30-40-100 or so...then all they have are scary letters to send you to stop doing what you are doing....BUT if they were to lock in on a definite number...then they could do some damage...

I'm actually still trying to free up some funds to get Kiddo. Still recovering from the onslaught of Rainman's Bickle. Flaky/scammer EBay buyers holding my funds ransom are throwing a monkey wrench into my plans. . .then, there's a chance the reveal of battle damaged Durden will make me go after him instead.

I should have pics of the Durden sculpt soon. It's basically in essence a swatch of blood across Tyler's left temple similar to the original prototype. The Narrator looks much better than the regular sculpt imo and not just because of the bruising/black eye. The paint technique utilized on this new version thins the face and makes him look more tired. I believe the same technique will be used on the regular sculpt final paint. The BD version just has the black eye and bruising. Looks cool. Again I should have photos tonight or tomorrow

The deal is you cant really prosecute production/making of unlicensed item as till then they are for personal/artistic consumption, but you can if there is proof of commercial exploitation/reproduction of copyrights and trademarks.
So all any copyright guy needs to prosecute is the proof of just one sale. Edition size and sales only help increase the amount of claims for damages that can be made...
