While it is GREAT to see other versions of Kaneda, I have mixed feelings about this figure. Will the pleather deteriorate? Will the red suit match the bike? Goggles look a bit wonky. The gloves are more limited than the Medicom version, etc, etc

I also have some present toys figs and I love them , in fact, right now almost all my preorders are from them but I dont see them delivering all those preorders

agree but I guess they weren't looking for accuracy from the very beginning, it's more like their take on the char .. well I would like to say that but I'm pretty sure they stole that sculpt from a custom and very expensive figure

Video review in Chinese up. Looks good, sheepskin leather for the jacket and pants.
I'm really not into the likeness at all.. but would really like a Kaneda for my bike and I've dairy products in my fridge with a better shelf life than the official one.

I don't have any of the medicom ver. But I do know that almost all the medicom figures are under scaled

Actually Kaneda's height is 168cm (5'-6") and Medicom figures are all made for 12" body.
So, in this case, it's over-scaled.

If I have to guess, I think it will fit a little bit loose cause of the medicom slim body but the original outfit was a little bit loose to begin with so ...

I'm sure the outfit will go pretty well on the medicom , also I thought this figure was a recast of the por toys release but after checking those pics , now I'm confident it wasn't the case

I would really like to say that Kaneda was everything they promised but it's not

Don't get me wrong It's a great release and I love the figure but they could easily release a better figure just by delivering what they promised

The good:

- the box art it's gorgeous and definitely the best art box of all my present toys figures .

- the 2 head sculpts are great, again they did a fantastic job and the lvl of detail on the paint job it's awesome, (almost as good as a hot toys figure... Almost). Honestly the sculpts have Details that we rarely see on a third-party figure. But I think it's because PT have been evolving a lot since the first Django figure, it was the first right?

I was originally a fan of the por toys figure but I never really knew anything about it (no one had it on preorder at the time or knew about it other than the promo pics) still until today I haven't see that figure on a video review or with a influencer/YouTuber and I think is mainly because it was more like a custom figure than a normal unlicensed release , so thanks to that I became a little bit obsessed with this Present Toys Kaneda.

-The body is nice and pretty decent, the height it's on point and for the ones who want to use the outfit for the medicom I think you'll not going to have any problems on the fitting department. My favorite parts regarding the body are the texture of the arms

-colors on the outfit over all are great and it looks more like the movie that the medicom figure

The bad

-maybe I'm wrong here but I think the outfit it's not real leather, I do own some custom real leather figures , and also have some experience in the sneaker department as in jackets and this Kaneda biker outfit it's not made out of real f leather I mean wtf PT, you were selling this figure as real leather outfit .

-this is more like a personal problem cause again we have the gigantic and unnecessary base/stand , yes it looks cool but it's also too f big

-and finally the laser gun .. for me it's not a problem cause I'm planning to go a little bit crazy and repaint the **** out of it but for the price having that matte black on all the gun.. rly..?


I'll give it a 8/10 it's a good figure but only if you're a fan

This is my old pic when I was planning to replace body. Medicom is indeed using regular 12" (30cm to head) body.
To make correct Kaneda height, you need much smaller body.
