After seeing that Indiana Jones figure they came out with, I’ll definitely be watching by this one. Real leather is a huge plus.

You left out the following.

1. The likelihood of a two year plus wait . . . maybe.

2. The possibility of the leather outfit being too bulky just like the Raider Jones leather jacket.

3. $160.00 (?) USD mediocrity requiring $250.00 in upgrades.

4. Not pre-ordering and then pre-order/availability panicking just like Raider Jones.

5. Possibility of an increased point where many will respond they'll skip it and then repeat #4 because they don't want to miss out.

I will likely get this as I sold my MMS 117 (which was my first hot toys). The real leather sells it for me. I'm dying for a T1 shootout or BD T2 but the pleather flaking scares me too much to justify paying after market prices :monkey2

I wonder what body they will use for this?

Looks quite good for what it is!

I think there's a common misconception about the T2 figures being made of pleather, they're not with the exception of the belt. The jacket and pants of the MMS117 & DX13 are made of PVC, which should last with minimal maintenance. While I love my DX10 being made of real leather, it never really looked right on the figure and ends up looking too thick compared to the PVC outfits.

Not bad for what it is and what it will probably cost. They need to consider making the belt from real leather as well. As far as I'm aware, every version of the HT T2 T800 eventually has flaking belts.

Looking forward to more pics. Currently, the head is looking a little big for the body or the body is too small for the head.

:exactly: They need to make the belt leather too.

It's nice to see a third party company finally doing Terminator figures.

Yeah that Raider Jones jacket may be "real leather" but many people seemed to not notice that it looks just like the Hasbro 12" Indy jacket from 2008.

Hopefully this Arnie one is better being a year or so down the line.

I think the promo figure looks really, really good. I'd be intrigued to know which T-800 sculpt that is. It's not an HT or any custom I recall seeing. A shrunken Enterbay 1/4 springs to mind. I shall watch this with interest.....

I don't think it's a shrunken Enterbay. Hair doesn't look as bouffant as theirs.

I probably don't need this unless that sculpt is somehow a revelation without the sunglasses and from the sideview. Interested to see more pics though and to find out what type of material the trouser belt will be.

Looks like they've just copied Hot Toys' grenades - their size and their spacing in the bandolier has never looked quite right when compared to the movie.

I also suspect it's again a generic minigun without a certain feature that the T2 one had

Oooooh. I've always wanted a 1/6 Terminator but couldn't afford HT when they were coming out like 8 years ago. I'll be keeling my eye on this for sure!

Yes you do - because its T2👍🏻
Eh.. I actually have two DX13’s. Not full sets, but I bought a second battle damaged body and parts to make a second using the second sculpt. So I have two full figures, plus a third. Also have the Tech Noir and Police Shootout version from the first film. I’m pretty good on T-800 representation.

I did the same thing with my DX13. Two full figures plus ended up with some extra accessories/outfit parts. Great looking figures. I've got the DX10 and the MMS117, too. There's just something about the MMS117 that captures the early scenes T-800 perfectly.

Love the Tech Noir version from the first film.

I have all those and I’m still getting this. I can never have enough T-800’s.

It looks similar to the DX10 but the furrowed brow for example seems more accentuated on this figure.
