Love seeing a third party Ripley, but the number of inaccuracies on such a relatively simple figure is staggering. Sculpt is also pretty bad. Sad, because I've got an alien, as well as Hicks and Hudson (with a custom sculpt, of course), and this is the major missing piece from my display. As with Mad Max, it seems there is still no great option out there.

Between this Medical Grade Never-Burst technology (lol) and the “genuine” leather focus on all these other popular characters they are announcing, it does seem like Present Toys is almost leaning into being the ‘weak sculpt, great Kitbash starter kit’ company. Interesting approach.

I would rather just pay an extra $50 or whatever if it meant they took some extra care with their head sculpts.

I picked up the Scaletta "Bishop" set and while certainly not hot toys quality, it definitely looks good enough to fit in with my Hot Toys "Aliens" figures.

I picked up the Scaletta "Bishop" set and while certainly not hot toys quality, it definitely looks good enough to fit in with my Hot Toys "Aliens" figures.

Did you replace the body of the full figure? That is my first planned update.

It's a bit much, considering a drop-off in quality, from prototype to production is to be expected. I may pick up a few loose bits, if it gets parted out.

Yeap, stock body is one of the ultra cheap ones. There is no point of keeping it

Hell yes. Always wanted a Ripley but she goes for crazy money now. I hope PT goes hard on these classics. I'd love: Bishop, Hudson, Hicks and Vasquez. Or the T-800 in T1. Dutch and his whole team from Predator.

I will say this has made me a lot more tempted to order that P1 statue, just so I can finally have a decent representation of the character. I've about given up on ever getting a 1/6 version.

They're changing the pants colors and also adjusting the color of the weapons. Hope they continue tweaking it because that sculpt needs a big redo.
