Wow this is great news! I've been waiting for a proper Aliens ripley for a while but hot toys keeps us waiting. I'd be very happy if they work on the sculpt more but I'm definitely going to be picking this up. Any news on places to PO?

Figure looks like what I imagine an anime (or stylized video game) version of Ripley would look like... and for some reason I actually like it a lot.

On one hand.... I would love an Aliens Ripley to accompany my HT Ripley, and if they did Newt, Hicks and Bishop I would be ecstatic...

But this needs some work and honestly, the costume isn't so elaborate that I feel I can just overlook the lack of likeness in the face.

If this was say, her in the Powerloader, then I would be 100% willing to overlook the likeness issue as the rest would be more than worth the price of admission on its own.... but for this the lack of likeness may be a pre-order killer for me.

There’s too much wrong here, and lack of power loader makes me very meh. Glad to see someone attempting what Hot Toys has given up on, but I’ll probably keep waiting…unless JazzInc makes a power loader to go with this.

A surprise to be sure, but not a welcome one^^ Besides likeness issues there's so much wrong with basically every part of the outfit and accessories. They just needed to "copy" everything from the P1 statue but they can't even do that for a proto pic. That's why I don't think much of Present Toys...


Howard Chan, you need to listen now:

Slow down with all the Marvel releases and put the resources into the classic franchises: Terminator, Predator, Alien - now is the time to revisit these!
MCU reached its peak with Endgame and has been on a steady decline since then. Collectors have been begging for "new" releases of the 80s/90s classics for years and not everybody is happy with all this half-hearted 3rd party stuff.

Just do it, Howard!

Figure looks very passable. Hot Toys seemingly abandoned every other property for everything for DC and Marvel.

Third parties are a blessing.

Interesting release. I wish that they had included a Newt. Hopefully this means that some of the Marines will be covered, as well.

As previously mentioned, sculpt needs work and the pants need to be light blue.

I don't really need this one, as long ago I made my own bash using Hot Toys parts as well as a seamless body. If priced well, I may pick it up in order to have Ripley loaded up in search of Newt.
