Paid my invoice from Kit on Friday. Even though this appears to be mediocre I'm still excited to finally have Ripley back in the collection. I had the HT Power Loader Ripley years years back when I first started collecting and ended up selling due to space and funds. Plus it was pretty dollish even at that time imo. Excited to get this and weather the outfit and possible do a rehair on it. It's better than nothing. But even if and when HT gets around to a 2.0 I hope with the Power Loader, I'd keep this one for either my detolf display or use this one for the Power Loader and the better HT for the Detolf.

I wish this was good enough to customize or add to it, but eh, I don’t see much that’s salvageable here. I think I’ll keep waiting for an Aliens version of her.

Have been thinking of upgrading the stock Alien Ripley figure to have rooted hair and a repaint by 357partment though.

Pulled the trigger at GIANTOY yesterday and it's already shipped.

I was reworking my old Ripley, gave her a new body and reworked her suit to fit better.
Will track down a PT HS and probably put her in the POWERLOADER (that I decided to weather).
And the PT figure I will receive will be used as is, Hive battle.

Just noticed the grenades are still wrong, PT just used regular shotgun shells painted silver with the tip red.
Lazy they could have recasted the ones from the marines.

It’s my favorite look for Ripley and I think it deserves the upgrade. The 357 repaint is beautiful and I’ve got plans for how I’d like the hair to be rooted. I’ve just been hesitant cause if I pay up to do this, I fear it’ll get a 2.0, which is why I’m selfishly hoping Hot Toys to do an Aliens version of her, which I think most people also prefer.

Looks pretty good to me , maybe the eye brows are not very well painted but overall it's a decent sculpt

This is a good time for those who only want the sculpt

It's definitely a nice release, a bit expensive for what we are getting but not bad at least we are not having a Biff Tannen problem

The guy did some interesting mods

The blood on the fase looks pretty good

He just need to ditch does horrible and tinny Hans/gauntlets and use the original phicen

Even for accuracy it's the best option

I was thinking that to but it seems that he goes for the 17A body (pale ver.) and repainted it
Guess will be better just to use the tan ver.
