Barrack = 0
McCain = 1

comments:

Obama: oversite, taxpayer return, no money to CEO parachutes, help homeowners.
8 years of failed policy by Bush - this is inaccurate

McCain:
Kennedy sympathy, republican's and democrats sitting down and work a solution to fiscal crisis which includes transparency, oversight, stabilize institutions, eliminate foreign oil dependence

First off Mesa I'm not sure you can moderate these answers. You've got a pic of Sarah Palin as your av for goodness sake. :lol

Second, I'm not sure I'd give McCain the point, at most I'd call it a draw. McCain sounded compassionate but his answer was mumbled through and seemed weakly stated. So far Barack is sounding very presidental by just sticking and stating this points....even in handling the second answer there is no clear winner...they are lobbing the answers back and forth and refusing to engage.

Barrack = 1McCain = 1

Obama:
subprime mortgage mess warning. government intervention, added regulation. agrees with McCain on accountability.

POinted out McCain said "fundamentals of economy are fine"

McCain:
same warning of corporate greed. Responsibility and accountability of those at fault on wall street. Hold People accountable.

Stricter interpretation and consolidation of regulating agencies.

Praises American Worker to pull itself out of it.

Still calling it a draw at 0 to 0 right now as we enter answer three. Neither one is being forceful enough.

who cares about politics? it's friday night for gods sake. im having a few beers before i go out on the town.:duff have fun with the scoreboard.:rolleyes:

They are starting to engage each other. Here we go. :rock

Yeah, i'll stop with the score keeping, it's pretty silly. This will get good.

So far theme is government spending vs tax cuts.

Obama lost his cool for a bit. The studdering before his last answer indicates that what McCain said got under his skin, its a textbook reaction when you don't want to physically show your frustration.

Obama is all about spending more it seems. "eliminating ear marks alone is not going to get middle class back on track"

It's a start. We need to stop the bleeding. Quit spending money we don't have.

And Obama keeps dragging McCain into Bush. "Past 8 years, we don't need another 4"

McCain is playing an interesting game with Obama. He is laughing, smirking, shaking his head, belittling his stands. Its a power play that seems to be working. Obama is showing a bit of uncomfort.

with everything like it is obama would be better off staying away from discussing his thoughts on universal healthcare because i think everyone knows it will cost us more money.

obama is coming across as wanting to spending more money...he needs to come across as saving money and helping the economy.

McCain is hemorrhaging.

Obama is destroying him.
