Preview of PF Abomination is up

In response, I honestly thought the the $500 price tag was due to a low ES. I was willing to pay a little more if it was more limited and rare. Now seeing the higher than expected ES, I have a hard time justifying the $500 price tag. Is this a $500 statue? It's just large. There doesn't seem to be that much mixed media or details that would cause a much higher production cost.

I forgot who but someone in here broke down the size to price increase ratio and it seemed like it made sense.

I have to go find it.

Oh well, couldn't find it.

He sure is one big sucker though! I keep looking at my Hulk to picture him next to it and not for nothing, he's probably going to look like he can whup Hulk's ass just by his sheer mass!

And when he's done wiping the floor with the Hulk, he'll then turn his attention to all our shelves!

If you guys think this statue is actually worth $500 retail, imo youre a bunch of suckers. the Hulk is just as big and was only around $300 retail and is a much more popular character.

I for sure don't think he is.

He's nicely designed but like you said, you walk up to someone on the street and show them the Hulk PF, they'll know who he is.

You show them the Abom and they'll say

"Umm, cool monster design, is he from the Lord of the rings, and what's up with his blue undies?"

Has anyone noticed that while the Hulk PF and Abomination PF are both the same hight as shown....if Abomination where to be possed standing in a more "upright" position he would literally tower WAY over the Hulk. Abominations calf alone is almost the same hight as hulk whole leg. Not a very accurate representation if SS's intention was for these two statues to be comparable to one another.

....and what up with the ears?....he looks like those things from the gremlins movies.

No not true at all....just an observation. I pay attention to detail alot....just cause I got a garbage iron man bust doesnt mean I hate the company. They still got one shot left to redeem themselves in my books. I think anyone in my place would say thats fair.

I dunno, just the way you posted it in the IM thread. Don't get me wrong, I'll be extremely pissed if mine comes messed up. But, you could always ask them if you can destroy it (like someone else said), post them the pics, save shipping, and they can send you a new one.

i though the same thing, that he would be much taller than hulk, i don't know how comic accurate that is, but watching the movie again the other day abomination is quite a bit taller than hulk.
still looks like a good pairing though imo, so i will still be getting him.

I never saw Abomination with a speedo as bright and as tight as that in the comics. I mean hes fighting the hulk, ripped out a fired hydrant and is standing on dert and rock...but for some reason his speedo doesnt have one spec of dust on it??
....and if SS can make such an accurate representation of abomination in the comics without a problem...........what the hell is their excuse for the 1:1 Iron man bust?
