I think people forget that $300 is, well, $300!!!!.

Sideshow's stuff is usually more expensive but it exudes quality. That's why this piece has gotten the backlash it's received. We expected better.

I have to admit, I have never read so many people not liking a piece (here & statue forums)

It seem 90% of people want changes done to this piece. I hope it happens but SS don't have a record for changing after pics released

One has to think though, did Sideshow get lazy and cheap with this one because they knew they could get away with it? Everyone who has the first 2 will just pick up the third one to complete the set. IF you don't like it then don't buy it! Don't give Sideshow a cent and express your dislike for an item with your wallet.

Just think about it. If it sells out then there is no reason for change, is there?

Oh man...

After reading some of the previous posts I'm at a loss of words. I went back to look at the Beast/Queen diorama and yes the choice of pose is very similar in nature. I agree that Wolverine could have used an action pose, maybe his claws slashing at the break point signifying the damage to the foot. It terms of Kitty, her leg appears to phase into the foot and I really can't say the sculpt is exact to the White Queen. I mean, how many ways can you sculpt a generic female face. Certainly it's everyone's right to disagree with a sculpt but constructive criticism leads to better products not calling Sideshow employees "moron's" which is completely classless. A fact I guess many new people on this board clearly don't understand is that Sideshow listen's to their customers and interacts with us here on a regular basis. In my opinion being called a "moron" doesn't exactly get the creative juices going. Maybe instead of blowing your top and hurling insulting remarks at Sideshow, provide constructive criticisms that actually may be taken under advisement.

OK I'm certainly not above admitting when I 've made a mistake....

Kitty's costume certainly looks gold to me, at least in this picture. Not shiny sparkly gold - my comment should have read lame with an accent describing the fabric, not that it was lame. The color could be tweaked a bit still. (Guess it's time for me to pick up the comics again.)

I still want lights though.....

beasts pants & kitty's costume are the same colour in that pic but not here beast is gold, kitty is a sliver/gold
