I have the SWS, can't really recommend it enough, it's amazing despite its age.

Not sure if it’s your angle but I felt like mine started to lean so I ditched it. It was a great piece, for sure.

Man I love that Wolf, it's probably the statue I regret most not buying. I couldn't stomach the cost at the time which is crazy looking back now, the average Prime 1 Predator costs a similar amount, don't even start on their 1/3 Preds (Which I have ordered the JH) They did tease Wolf & Celtic years ago, but nothing ever came of them, I'm not sure they could top that Wolf anyway.

Regarding the SWS maquette, it's so hard to get decent pictures of it, the camera always exagerates the lean, but yours does look to have more tilt than mine for sure.

Would be awesome if they came back around to it. I’d love for them to make a Scar Predator as well. That’s even less likely though.

They teased Celtic around about the same time as Wolf, this was about three years ago I think. Pretty sure they are dead in the water at this point.

I always wished Sideshow would do this pose back when the movie first came out. Now, my hope falls on Prime 1. Pose just captures him perfectly.

I love the Berserker design, I liked it back in 2010 and it's only grown on me over the years. With his mask on, he just looks so mean. I think my main issue with Prey is that the design looks like a cheap Halloween suit of a "Super Predator" It's such a shame that Infinity went with the weird pose over their other early concept which would have been amazing!! If I could have any statue atm, I think I'd like the Berserker in 1/4 in a fairly simple tall standing pose, mask on obviously.

I warmed up to the unmasked Berserker design pretty quickly, just a shame that Hot Toys wasn't able to capture it accurately. Their Super Predators were disappointing in general, from the long necks, tiny heads, short dreads, and flaky pleather.

I must admit, I warmed to it a bit, I still don't absolutely love it, and I do think he looks so much better with his mask on. But I don't hate it as I used to, certainly the monstrosity in Prey has made me appreciate the Super Predators even more.


I still cannot get my head around Infinity not using the top concept here however. That would have been one heck of a cool statue!!

I'd love to know their thinking and why they choose to go with such an awkward pose with no mask option instead. That other concept was amazing!

Agreed, I really like that top one. This Predator was always super interesting to me, but then he took off his helmet and I instantly lost all love for him. I hated their face/head designs.

Looks like this piece is having a bit of a resurgence of late. And I'm part of it. I cancelled mine over a year ago due to the insane shipping cost Prime 1 requested from me (Something like $900+) I ordered the 1/3 instead.

Well that's paid off now and yet I found myself still looking at this. I messaged Secret Compass who still have some, and for less money than my original order so I bit the bullet. I have the DX bonus on the way.

Thanks to Gary, Sith and everybody else who post wonderful images of these things, they are always a big help when deciding whether or not to commit to such large purchases. At least I'll have this if Prime 1 do royally mess up the 1/3...
