Here is some better pictures of my base (all sides). The marks show more due to the flash with no flash they are not as noticeable. To be honest i can deal with that base i just want the body and head changed so i can have a piece that i can enjoy.

Base doesn't look all that bad honestly. I'd get some high quality car polish and go over it. You probably wouldn't be able to see any flaws on it then. I wouldn't accept the flaws on the body, however....especially the defect on the Bat symbol.

That is where i am at. I can deal with the base i have all the car products, machines and hand pads to polish that out. My superman base had none of these marks that is what i am comparing it to but its not enough for me to send back but the body and head are issues for me. I am just adding the photos to show them this piece has more than 1 issue with it. I am going to look at the head again get it out day time and see exactly how bright those brown eyelids are it could have just been the light to be honest the head might still be ok. That body though no good.

Indeed M uNited, the base doesn't seem too bad, i am sure you can touch it up easily! Now if you have serious defects like the ones mentioned then i suggest you ask for replacement or money returned.

I've never asked for a replacement for any of my collectibles, even though one or two old statues might be eligible, i didn't care and considered the flaws so unimportant to bother me. But if my 1/2 Batman arrived with any serious imperfections, it would be impossible to pass it up and ignore it. The size and cost call for a mint statue from top to bottom.
I am happy mine came in great condition.

Let me just name a few of serious flaws, usually reported by fans so far for the 1/2 Batman:

1) Glue Residue at the body-

2) White marks or scratched surface at the batman symbol

3) Chipped ears

4) Gap between the mouth plate an the edge of the mask

5) Bad paint application at the hands and boots leaving white blotches

6) Scratches around the base

I believe the most common error is the glue residue due to the tight fit of the suit to the poly stone body, then some white stains around the symbol and hands.

I am impressed Sman came out with almost zero flaws reported, i think because the rubber touch of the suit is a bit different

When i smashed mine up, there was overwhelming fishy smell. It was the ridiculous amount of glue used to keep the fabric on the body. It's really no surprise that it leaked through the suit. I'm surprised that not every single one of these has that problem.

Hi all. Wondering if you fine folks can assist me with some measurements.

I understand Prime 1 and Sideshow provide dimensions on their sites but I'd like to know if someone could physically confirm those sizes. Is the base on this (and Superman if you happen to have both) the widest/deepest part of the piece, or do the statues themselves protrude beyond the base extents?

Just trying to organise something to display them in before they arrive. I noticed IKEA have a Fabrikor cabinet that might suit temporarily (going by official dimensions) but I'd just like to be sure of the measurements before I head over to check it.

Otherwise, any suggestions of suitable display cabinets in Australia would be much appreciated.

Just got a message back from Popcultcha and prime 1 said its the head is correct and the damage on the emblem is a minor flaw so they wont be sending any replacements parts. **** that the body is not good enough for me considering it retails for $3300aud. I messaged prime 1 saying i dont accept that and to replace the parts or i will send this back, cancel my darkseid new 52 and cancel my wonder woman 1:2. Also told them i wont be ordering any of the justice league !:3 statues as i dont trust their quality control and customer service. I will keep the Superman 1:2 that has no issues.

That sucks, man. Mine is coming from SS in a few weeks and if there are any issues at all it's going back. I want this piece desperately for my collection, but I won't accept one that has noticeable flaws and nobody should be expected to for that kind of money.

I sent popcultcha message telling them i now want a full replacement (not my shipping costs) not a refund because it is a non fixable issue. I gave prime 1 a chance to fix this they said no ( i even messaged them myself on FB). I dont find it acceptable for a $3300aud piece to have such a bad defect if prime 1 has an issue i will take it up with Australian fair trading. Gave them a chance to fix the body at the very least they might think its a minor defect its not minor to me a small hole on the bat symbol is a deal breaker for me. Companies don't understand this is not a statue worth a couple of hundred dollars its over 3kaud or 2kus its unacceptable and not unreasonable to want a product without defects for such an expensive piece.

It's all boxed up at the moment but it is a black stain and i think from what i remember it may have some damage on that section also. I wouldn't know what the law states exactly but the statue itself doesn't come with that defect and considering the price of the piece i am confident we are covered.

I can deal with the base can even deal with the eyes if they are suppose to be that brown i can't deal with an issue on the bat symbol.

Edit: Got a call from popcultcha never had any doubts with them i believe they will replace the body for me. Told them i am disappointed with Prime 1 they fully understand. Feel bad because i believe this will cost popcutcha and not prime 1 (that's not what i wanted) but i cant display this piece with a defective bat symbol. And i have done a bit of business with popcultcha and will do a fair bit more at least there is that.

The page that posted this code, Prime 1 Studio Premier Guild on facebook, indicates that this would probably be the last time this statue comes up with this kind of discount as there are only a small quantity available and at least a couple of fellas jumped on this beauty the moment the code was revealed...more things to consider, this is a $300 discount for this piece, well worth the effort.
