Not to dis the Sideshow version, but imo the Prime 1 piece is far more impressive than Sideshows version.

But yeah, Prime 1's Venom is huge. But I think it works.

But looking at your collection vids, I guess you may be running out of space next to your Marvel Avengers and Spidey piece.

I do diss the undersized, weird pose with foot ss venom. P1 venom destroys the ss version by far with way better portraits, resin, and the size is true 1:4.

Ahhh, I forgot you can get NRD refunded on delays. If you're on flex pay, do you get a full refund too or do you lose a percentage?

Normally, you lose like a $20 fee for cancelling a FlexPay, but you might be able to get that waived due to a delay. I've only ever cancelled FlexPay's that were actually in-stock items, and was just charged a $20 fee.

But do you get back your Reward Points?

Sorry but I don't even know where to start ahahah
The sideshow Venom scale and body proportions are way more accurate to the McFarlane Venom than this prime 1 venom lol
This prime 1 Venom is based on the dark origins series which is the modern Venom.

The pose is also accurate to the agility Venom required seeing as he would leap and jump around just as Spider-Man would due to the fact the Symbiote suit allows the current host (Eddie Brock) to obtain the same skills/power as its previous host (Spider-Man) hence the reason Venom also can shoot and swing from web too.

SS venoms foot has no separation between the toes because if you look at any picture of Mcfarlanes Venom you will see he doesn't have toes because he is ultimately in a Symbiote suit.

Prime 1's portraits honestly don't compare to the Sideshow portraits... especially the exclusive McFarlane head, better size proportion to the body, way better teeth and eyes, only thing you could possibly argue with is if you prefer the smooth Venom skin.

Finally the skin texture....
You can either love it or hate it.
You can say it looks like an avacdo or raisins because it's bumpy but then you could say Prime 1's resembles a **** because it is smooth and veiny lol. It's all perspective on this one.
I personally see the rough alien like texture on sideshow's to resemble what a living moving alien organism would look like when attached to and manipulating its human host.

I like statues because they take cartoon drawings and turn them into realistic portrayals of what the character would look like if it was alive on earth. To me the Sideshow Venom does this.

If you want to have a 3D cartoon then the Prime 1 takes the top spot. If you want a hyper realistic Venom then Sideshow is the way to go. If you want the best of both worlds then the XM Venom would be for you.

Edit: Unless you are referring to the Venom Comiquette, then yes I 100% agree it is too small to be a 1:4 scale and I don't like the pose either and would take the prime 1 Venom over it any day of the week.

A bit off topic. I saw XM Venom few days ago, and it looks more impressive than seeing it on foto. For those who saw P1 Venom, can you share what you think of it?

Thanks for the heads up, I get triggered easily sometimes.
I think P1 Venom will have to be seen in person to truly be appreciated, its size will create a strong presence.

I have XM venom I don't see P1 topping it (hence why I was trying to get out the P.O) but I think P1 Venom looks fantastic and in hand will be the deciding factor for a lot of people.

I'm the opposite. I also have the XM , but feel this will easily top it.

All three Venom's have their strengths and weaknesses. I like all three versions. I would proudly display all three versions.

However, one major aspect that the Sideshow piece has that the others don't, is that he is appropriately sized compared to Spidey. The XM version is enormous and I have no doubt the P1 will be as well. But, that is a downside if you are looking for something a little more comic accurate, size wise. I saw a pic the other day of the XM Venom with the XM Black Cat and the Venom piece made Black Cat look like a 1/6 scale - which is not how McFarlane and Bagley portrayed him back in the comics.

very true. The XM and Prime need a 1/3 scale Spider-Man to go with them.
