Honestly this is way better than the new SS And XM venom. This is the venom I was hoping for ever since I regretting selling my Venom comiquette. I love the pose, tentacles, and all three portraits. Can't wait until they show their Carnage.

I'm in the same boat. The XM piece will remain the best but I just don't want to go after it with the price it's asking for right now. Sideshow's version is nice but not a fan of the texture they decided to go with.

Prime 1's version looks to be second best and I don't think we'll be getting another Venom from anyone anytime soon.

I have to admit, there's a strong temptation to save for this one and make it my next large statue purchase. For my economic situation and location though (major shipping/taxes/duty), I'm trying to limit purchases to maquettes with a fight scene or two or more characters interacting rather than a one character portrait. Trying! Time will tell on how I do with that effort.

How can this be a true 1/4. Adjust the size of the base say the same height as the hulk maquette and take away the tendrils it still looks much bigger than the hulk maquette and the maquette is already quite big enough. I don't think venom was bigger than hulk in the comics.

Just not feeling this piece. Proportions look off too me, especially when looking at the side by side pics with Hulk.

I don't know about bigger than Hulk, but he's massive in the comic this piece is based on.

The visible waist joint kills this. I suppose the neck joint will also be visible. They ruined it.
