I like it... What's the big deal.. His legs are to close..maybe they are trying to make him seem as tall as possible. If he were in a low stance pose with his knees bent people would be complaining about him being way to small..

I think the Alien Newborn is 1/5 too.

That's a pretty lot of 1/5 stuff for aliens, predator and terminator.

I count 15 statues so far before the engineer. (7 aliens, 4 predators, 4 terminators)

not sure if the fewture warrior is 1/5 that might be another

If there was a 1/5 Dutch and T1 I might switch to 1/5 and lose the 1/4 clothes wearing figures that don't move. JK I like 1/4 too much heheh.

Don't forget about the "predators" maquette 1/5 line, that is another 3 right there. I like many of the 1/5 alien/pred statues, I have 8 of them myself. I suppose others with those lines would like to see this guy in 1/5 too, but I don't like it regardless of scale. If they did a better job it would not matter so much to me 1/5 or 1/4, as I have both, just give me a nice statue 1st to at least tempt me.

Nobody is asking for the knees to be bent, just a more natural looking pose. It's good you like it though, sales might double soon.

Yea that would have been cool. Unfortunately right now all I have is 1/5 statues, so I don't mind the height. Plus with it not being too wide it won't take up too much space in the besta. eventually I would like to get the bigger alien maquettes but they are expensive...

The big deal for me is this isn't his character. He was kind of a bad a... in the movie. Not some stuffy professor

I personally don't look at a piece and first look for what's wrong with it, but what I DO like about it. Everyone has their own opinions and that's great..if everyone agreed, this board would be pointless.

Very much agree with you here. I really enjoyed the movie for sure. I love the Engineers and the story it tells. Just really awesome. I really do want this piece. Thinking of ordering it but hate that NRD that SS wants you to pay when placing a order and if the EX is worth it. Could turn out to be very low so may just spend the NRD at SS instead of order from BBTS.

Yea I know what you mean, the NRD sucks, but I can't risk missing out on the EX. This piece will go well with the Prometheus poster I recently got. Its a mini movie poster hand signed by the five main characters. Its signed by Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba and Logan Marshall-Green. Got a certificate of authenticity for it.

Thank you. Yea the EX is really cool, nice little base for it. I don't mind that he can't wear it. I would definitely be bummed to not have the mask at all. I hope they do a statue of the little alien that pops out of his chest at the end. Though it would probably be pretty small. Maybe if they did the engineers upper body as the base with the alien standing in it like he just ripped out...

Yeah definitely and the Decon is a cool idea for sure they should definitely do it! Nut we'll see since this may not even sell well sadly.

Yea lots of opportunities for great pieces from this movie. I hope one statue doing poorly won't deter them from this license... That would be a shame

I think SS will ultimately realise that if sales are poor for this, it is their own fault and not for a lack of a Prometheus market. I'd love a good engineer, I suspect many would. Unfortunately this maquette isn't it....

On the other forum I said: 1/4 Engineer on a crouching pose (like when he jumps off of his cryo sleep chamber, with one knee on the ground). Being 1/4 he's big enough to be bulky, but the pose doesn't take away too much space and there's more space for the details. I would 100% in, now that would worth $400.

Yea the pose could be better but overall it's a cool piece. My besta is getting crowded so he will fit very nicely not killing too much floor space..
