There should only ever be three scales.

1/6. 1/4 and 1:1

Everything else is fail.

not having a wide variety of scales would be a fail. Just like everything else in life.

I think the Alien Newborn is 1/5 too.

That's a pretty lot of 1/5 stuff for aliens, predator and terminator.

I count 15 statues so far before the engineer. (7 aliens, 4 predators, 4 terminators)

not sure if the fewture warrior is 1/5 that might be another

If there was a 1/5 Dutch and T1 I might switch to 1/5 and lose the 1/4 clothes wearing figures that don't move. JK I like 1/4 too much heheh.

And of course they had to make a random 1/6 statue line for LOTR which is just annoying for solid statue collectors who have everything else in 1/5.

They do that with Predator too... the Bad blood predator statue is 1/6 I think... but I usually pass on the Narin sculpts.

Actually I prefer if the EX was a nameplate, it makes more sense than a mask laying around that cant be attached to the statue.

was disappointed with the final product. thought the helmet should fit on the statue and make it removable or a switch out head. and the damned gnarled up fingers reminds me of the ss PF stroke captain america. hate that hand sculpt feature but sideshow knows better than us?

If it's not doing well it's their own fault.
Useless scale and pose that they had months to correct. I can't believe they came up with it let alone anyone approved it or at some point said uh what the ****?

Yep, all they need do is give him a wider stance and the orders would start coming in, heck even I'd probably get one!

Also, for those that keep bringing it up, this is not the full suit that the helmet is part of so it wouldn't look right if the helmet were wearable on this version. It is confusing that they added it though I guess.

Yeah Sideshow and us as collectors by default get so few opportunities to visit some characters.
I get really frustrated, if you can't tell, when they sculpt a character and like in this case get the scale and pose so wrong and yet things would be so easily fixed by adding 3 or 4 inches of height and tweeking the pose.
Alas I doubt SS will ever release another Engineer and we're left with this :(

:lecture From this angle, it looks like he's sniffing his own brew.

A lot of jokes going on this piece. I can understand why. I really don't know if I'm going to order now or wait. I may just wait to place an order when the Edition Size goes up. I think it's a really nice piece and the EX is really cool. Would go good next to the Big Chap LSB. It may be 1/5 but still 22 inches is pretty large in my opinion so I'll wait a little longer than order. I do like the sculpting and pose just the pricing is throwing me off. Only thing holding me back when I really want this.

I like it... What's the big deal.. His legs are to close..maybe they are trying to make him seem as tall as possible. If he were in a low stance pose with his knees bent people would be complaining about him being way to small..
