Do you think the 1/4 scale Premium Format will soon be obsolete? :-/ with rising costs etc I'm sure it would affect accurate and high end tailoring for the clothing etc. There seems to be a lot more 1/5 scale statues coming out now. Kind of makes me change my mind about only collecting PFs and selling off my 1/5ths :-/

There will always be PF's.
Just getting more expensive with every release.

Is there more 1:5 now? :dunno Sideshow have always produced a range of scales.

I would miss the scale but not the mixed media. I want statues that don't wear clothes. I'm a lifesize collector as well and if I want the clothes bad enough I'll get them in lifesize lol.

You know what would be epic IMO? A full-scale version of the exclusive mask, exactly the way they have it displayed. Might have to do some reinforcing to hold it up or make the mask itself lighter because of the size but I would freaking kill to have that. It's gorgeous.

If they made a full scale Engineer mask similar to the Predator masks I’d be in for one of those. I would probably be very interested in a masked Engineer legendary scale bust too.

Well if you look at the rate they're turning out polystone statues (multiple Alien, Terminator and Buffy ones) compared to 1/4 PFs, it seems there are a lot more per franchise in 1/5 solid polystone.

And of course they had to make a random 1/6 statue line for LOTR which is just annoying for solid statue collectors who have everything else in 1/5.

I'm of two minds about the mixed media. If it's done well, then I like it. What I don't like ifs if it's not done well and also it's hard to keep dusted etc.

The detail on this is awesome , pose is alright but a no helmet switch out head is a huge fail. I think the helmet is what makes these guys so cool. If it was cheaper I would take the helmet it comes with and customize it to his head. Maybe Ill find a cheap broken one in the future and do that.

The pose is putting me off aswell, it's kinda like a how a Butler stands "Suit You Sir!"

The pose does not bother me, its just the height. He needs to be taller...(or 1/4th) then it would be worth $400...but i still might get it.......he will look pretty cool with Shaw if hottoys ever puts her up for sale.

There should only ever be three scales.

1/6. 1/4 and 1:1

Everything else is fail.

I think 1/3 is great too....it fills the gap between 1/4 and 1:1 very nicely. Although I'll take Vader in 1:2 scale.
