I guess it's a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" kind of thing with Lar'ja Thwei and Celtic vs. Ramatuelle.

Well, if you can't hold your own end of the rope you have to call in reinforcements, right? Its like the blind leading the blind with those two.... always flailing around trying to hit me, but their arrows just keep missing the mark.

I just hope they don't completely disregard the first movie and get caught up in just focusing on the doc and robo-head going to find the Engineer home world. Regardless of how you feel about the first movie (I personally liked it) there's A LOT of unanswered stuff there and I hope they cover some of that.

I hope they will.
It was a mess alright so the less this sequel continues it's stupidity the better movie we'll get.

In an early leaked draft at the end of Prometheus they hit a wormhole that took them to the past, I really hope this is not where they take the 2nd movie.

I still think the Predators showing up in the sequel is a good idea. It would tie down AVP, alien and predator nicely.

AAAND that is why you are not a writer or in any way concerned in the creative industry in general. terrible idea that a kid would actually find appealing.

Why? just because AVP sucked doesn't mean this one has to.

The Engineers were running from something in the first movie, They should have a flashback where the engineers were running from Predators.

the tag line could be "If The Engineers made us, who made the predators?"
they could even have sequels about the aliens that created the predators and now the predators go to find them.

They need to make this movie. The first one left to many ****ing unanswered questions. You don't make a movie full of questions and then not follow it up with the freakin answers. There is no payoff at all. If no sequel then there is no point in ever watching Prometheus again

I agree with the camp that says no crossovers. IMO they ruined both franchises with those ****ing crossover movies.
