This whole trying to kill the aftermarket plain and simple greed that hurts the consumer.

EVERY SINGLE game in the used section of a website or store had to have been bought for retail at least once before it could reach the aftermarket.

So when a company sell, for example, a million copies for $10 they (and of course the retailer and distributer and all those involved) get 10 million dollars revenue. they've made their money on the game, done and dusted.

IF the game isn't good enough to keep, people (who paid for the game when it was new) trade it in and that allows those who can't afford it at retail to buy it for less.

All Customers win and Publishers win becuase they sold that used game originally at retail.
