im leaning that way, but as im new to this awesome hobby i wasnt sure if this is a piece that will grow with time in popularity or it will always be around the same price?

what im trying to say is, if i dont pick it up now do you think ill pay through the nose in 6 months. im not doing this as a money making exercise, im doing it because i love to collect. And its awesome that there is soooooooo much knowledge out there to tap into. thanks Punishment1218
Unless you're wanting to buy the EX for bragging rights and chest bumping, then you really don't need it for this one. This is one of the few were the EX doesn't really matter. I own the regular and I honestly enjoy seeing the trench knife placed alongside his boot. He looks brutal with just the brass knuckles in hand. If you plan on collecting and not flipping then there's a heck of a good deal for a regular going on right now in the For Sale/Trade Forum. You'll save nearly $100 from the one you're currently interested in.

The only reason the ex would go through the roof in price is because of the low ex number. The ex itself sucks. You'd be fine with the regular edition.
there wil not be a huge price difference on the exclusive 6 months from now.
As others have said, the knife is weak.
For my 2 pennies, buy the regular and get one of the custom weapons being offered by spazzy.

However now I have it in hand the knifes AWESOME and GRAILtastic and makes a huge difference....
I especially like how sideshow have made it really flexible and bendy...it's great and a must have

Just FYI I am still trying to get this last project wrapped up and then will tackle the other parts I am still taking orders and will do so for about 2 weeks after I show the other items.

Good choice! I'm sure you won't regret it. I am personally not a fan of the EX but it's a great sculpt and pose so it's still a win. With a total ES of only 1,350 (EX and Reg combined) and with Spazzy's awesome custom parts, I'm sure that those who missed out or came late to the game will regret it someday.
