The heads and hands a slightly oversized on all the QMX Trek figures, which you only notice when standing them next to other brands. It's a stylistic choice I think.

Specifically looking at that body, I do think the head looks oversized. Don't know if that's lens distortion or what.

I am not interested in TOS figs, and I am waiting for TWOK. BUT looking at this body, and reading Mr. Nanjin's enthused "Looking good!" really worries me.
Am I the only one that finds that:

1) Head-body proportion is off. Head too big.

2) Body build too skinny for these guys while arms are too muscular. Partially fixable with fatsuit, but those abs showing through the fabric do not contribute to a realistic vibe.

3) Legs too long, too skinny (waist too: no ***?).

4) I might be missing something else, which I can't put my finger on yet.

And please, don't get all pissy on me just yet. I am just trying to contribute useful insight, not to derail anything or frustrate anyone or condemn anybody's efforts. I now ask for the same from you folks.

Yeah I'm not totally sold on them either. Nanjin posted this other shot too, and while I like the overall slimmer look, the torsos are still way too ripped and muscular for any Trek actor, and the shirts seem to have been shrunken a little too much as well.

What I like about the Spock pic is that he does look lankier, which was a main beef for me.
I do agree that the arms still look a bit buff and the shirts are too tight. but that has always been the case, and I suspect it has to do with the material.

I like the idea, but I'm unconvinced by the result, as shown. To me, for every issue that body solves, it creates a new one. So paying extra money to swap one set of problems for another set doesn't much appeal to me personally.

Very nice! I have mine a little more crowded together on a Detolf. I may go to some other type of stand, as the QMX stands take up a significant bit of room. Looking forward to Sulu and any other TOS Trek that comes along!

I got my Bones figure in a couple of days ago. Like Spock and Kirk, his quality is wonderful. Only thing I'm not in love with was how difficult it was to get some of his medical vials into his med kit correctly. I haven't had time to do a ton of poses yet but here's the couple of done so far.

So, question: it seems a bunch of people think Picard is too short and McCoy is too tall. Has anyone tried doing a body swap on them (assuming they're different bodies)?
No one chimed in, so I've answered my own question. The two figures feature massively different bodies. Picard's body measures 22.7cm from the bottom of the ankles to the top of the shoulders. McCoy's is 24.5cm. Both actors are the same height, and both are slightly shorter than Ricardo Montalban. I'm going to try and shorten McCoy a touch, and I think I'll try for a different body for Picard. That might make a world of difference.

I have Picard on a Disney Krennic body, and McCoy on a Threezero Rick Grimes with the ankle extenders pried off

McCoy stands slightly taller as he has higher boot heels, but Picard is 29.5cm tall (not counting boot heels). So both bodies worked out pretty well getting them close to 1.78m.

But if you got to theses pages, where they take celebrity height very seriously, you can find different estimates:

Sulu will probably suit the GangHood 2.0 Bruce Lee body that Picard shipped on:

Thanks for the responses. I tested Picard's uniform on the McCoy body and the top half looks great. The only issue I saw was the fact that the legs looked a touch long. Removing ankle extenders would do the trick for sure. Looks like I'm on the hunt for a body, as the torso looked great when swapped. It filled out the puffier TNG uniform well.

The Disney Krennic is great for giving Picard square shoulders. The only downside is that the arms are a little longer, so the sleeves will ride up in certain poses. This could be taken care of by cutting a bit off the forearm and gluing the wrist peg into the hole. I haven't bothered as I don't find the issue problematic enough.

In other news, I saw on Nanjin's Facebook that he's going to rework the new Spock body to get rid of the six pack.

I had fun today. Leonard McCoy saves the day! Part 1!

Back on the enterprise later that day, Spock tells Kirk and McCoy about how he deduced Bones would trick Khan and then Jim asks Mr. Sulu(offscreen for now) to take them out.

How is the height on the Krennic body? Since it's listed as a 10" figure I imagine it'll be equally short as the stock body. Asta, mind sharing a picture?
