McCoy's body

Help!

I'm happy to have my McCoy but I am not satisfied with some of his looks. The worst point is his muscular body.

I would like to switch it. There are some bodies I found in the web (there may be more):

either Hot Toys Grand Moff Tarkin Base Body

or Custom B001 1/6 scale narrow shoulder body

or ......?

There is one I like most but it would not fit with the head (two necks):

Any recommendations?
Please help, thank you!!

If you need a good reference there are probably dozens of us on this forum that will race to write one up for you. Plus, my guess, many more ready and willing to help from the Trek fan sites out there.

Starbase Insignia

Does anyone know where one can get a TOS Starbase (!) insignia in 1:6 scale (or some equivalent) to put on a QMx tunic?

Onesixtthscaleking.com had a good selection but I just checked and this wasn't one of them. The website is still up but I'm not sure if they are still taking orders for custom patches.

They sell Star Trek TOS Exeter patches and the Commodore Decker Brezel patch but not the Starbase flower.
Any other guess?

It's surprising how they managed to mess up both TOS and TNG. Both lines have a lot of commonality of parts, so the cost of developing a whole new figure are minimal, mainly just the headsculpt. A steady trickle of announcements would have kept up buyer confidence, but that didn't happen.

I think that it's true to say they failed to capitalise on the potential rather than they messed it up. I think the neck stains on Picard might have been one factor that shook their faith because that must have affected sales potential. We almost got there and what we did get was awesome.

I'm focused on getting custom sculpts of characters that were never likely to get made in any event while keeping fingers crossed that Uhura is far enough along that they might produce her next year.

UHURA! Yes!

Can you imagine an alternate universe where QMX was a real action figure company and they would already be teasing the upcoming launch of Star Trek Strange New Worlds figures having already released the main casts of all of the other Trek series by now.

****.
That makes me feel like Michael Jordan wondering what it would've been like to go back in '98-'99 with the same team to try and win #7...
