I hope we get Scotty next. My main interest are all the original series crew plus some red shirts. If that works out then aliens and others from TOS. I am TOS all the way. Would like Kirk, Spock and Bones in Wrath of Khan uniforms also.

Someone said on here that the 6 inch Mezco Star Trek line has been discontinued. I have the Kirk, Spock and Sulu. It always seemed strange to me that Sulu was released before Bones. I saw some photos of the Bones but it seems to have never been released. I was wondering if anyone has any info on the fate of the Mezco line? Such a shame if it did come to an end. I wanted to build the whole main crew in 12 inch and 6 inch scales.

I honestly think the line should have focused on a trio from each series. They've done tso. It'd be nice to have Picard, Riker, and Data from TNG. Sisko, Odo, and Quark from DS9. Because I'm not particularly fond of the other two series skip ahead to Discovery and make Orca, Berman, and Saru. Hit the high points and hope that fuels interest in the second and third tier characters.

If the prospect of sales was no consideration, I could get behind this. But Scotty or Sulu would sell well better than Odo. So, QMX has to factor that in.

Honestly I’d be okay with this too. The only problem is we all have different ideas of what trio we’d like. I know for me I’d take Picard, Data, and Geordi but a lot of people would want otherwise.

Yeah, that’s what I was getting at. In theory just releasing a few would be fine but aside from TOS it’s harder to pinpoint who everyone’s “trio” would be. Even TOS is hard as for me I’d prefer a quad (Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and Scotty).

Not interested in mirror variants before the rest of the main crew. They're an easy option to get out quickly I suppose, but it's not going to help those people waiting for a Kirk/Spock rerelease before they can jump on board the line. In theory you could include a regular uniform with Jim, but that won't work with a beardy Spock.

Are rereleases something qmx does? I think they repackaged Mal with the signature, but haven't known them to remanufacture figures. I don't like it when companies do that, though ssc basically does that all the time. Better to do variants like the mirror mirror looks.

I missed the regular releases of Kirk and Spock so I’ve got no interest in Mirror versions of them. I think even if I had the normal versions I’d probably pass on them though. Cool episode but I don’t need figures of those versions of the characters.

I would definitely be in for a Mirror Kirk and Spock, but agree they should probably focus on releasing the other figures they've previewed first.

Right now the TWOK figures are the ones I'm most dying to have.

Even though I have the original, if they released a variant Kirk in the green tunic I'd buy that, and the chair to go along with it. I absolutely have zero interest in Mirror Universe figures, though. Getting those would feel like starting another line within the line, and we'd likely only get Kirk and Spock at best, so it would, for me, just feel like another incomplete set. Rather just avoid it completely, personally, and keep waiting on Scotty.

If they release Kirk in the green wraparound, they'll have to re engineer his 'fat suit' to not show above the v neck. I think mirror releases are intriguing, but not for me. I think it's just a hardcore few and completists who would buy them, and unless they're an extremely limited edition they'll have loads left over and it'd further weaken the lines ability to continue. I do agree that the best way for them to go forwards is to run a Poll for 'who do you want next'

What I think they should do is over-produce Kirk and Spock on the initial run and then every time they produce a new figure, re-release a few of those as well. Maybe McCoy too, to a lesser extent. That way, even if you don't sell as many of your secondary characters, you still re-energise the franchise again and may get more people buying Kirk and Spock to boot.
