These are old, some of my first, I need to re-do them, to get them into better fighting stance. And I need to make a stand for the gong that came with them to hang it from.

I think the Vulcan Lyre is really cool. I just rewatched the episode with Uhura singing along with him until Charlie takes her voice. What a weird episode, but I liked it.

It will be really cool seeing these at SDCC. Quantum's booth is 4145. I would like that multi-tiered chess set too but that and the lyre are more sitting down poses and these guys scream to be in more upright/action type poses. The rifle is hilarious but I could do without it.

I can't wait for the Kirk figure. MWCToys review pics looks good. I hope the thing with the belts is straight though.

Yea, for people buying only one figure or the other, I hope the belts are in the right packages. If you get Kirk and have a very hard time getting the belt to fit around him, you probably got a Spock belt. They ARE two different lengths. I'm sure Qmx will make it right, but it's worth noting to make sure you have the right one.

If you buy both, it shouldn't be a problem as long as your Spock ends up with a Kirk belt like mine did.

Wow. The review of these looks great. Spock still seems a little off but not as bad as I originally thought. I am going to have to get him now.

Was browsing eBay UK today for something completely different and was amazed at how many of these were on there (Including the exclusives!) Saying that they'd be in hand to ship next week!........ There's no way these will ship before sdcc ........ I can't believe the lengths some folk will go to just to get your cash!

Was browsing eBay UK today for something completely different and was amazed at how many of these were on there (Including the exclusives!) Saying that they'd be in hand to ship next week!........ There's no way these will ship before sdcc ........ I can't believe the lengths some folk will go to just to get your cash!

No legit retailer will be shipping before July 20th. But many will have them at that time or soon after.

Nice reviews They look good and I'm glad I've bought them.

I hope the difference in paint app isn't too noticeable when they're side by side, as that will irk me a little.

Great accessories too. I won't be displaying the lute either - Odd fan choice.

These listings were claiming the 13th. I'm so glad That at least in here we get support and ACCURATE info to base our decisions on. I'd hate to be the person blowing money on these listings believing they'll get them next week!

Looks like the only downside to these are the slightly weak magnets and their interaction with the metal plates.... I wonder if the pants can be opened at all? I have a couple of very strong, very thin rare earth magnets that I could attach invisibly behind the metal plates..... That could possibly increase the attraction..... The last thing I want is to lose the phaser or communicator.......

If the magnets are the same as the previous version they are a bit weak, but fine for display. Now, IIRC, the magnets are in the objects, not in the pants. The pants have just metal plates.

Yeah. The pants just have the plates. That's why I thought that putting another magnet behind the metal plates in the trousers might have an 'opposites attract' effect and strengthen the bond. It seems like at the moment any slight impact to a shelf or a stiff wind will send the accessories tumbling.

It might be enough just to stick a small piece of double sided tape to the phaser to make it a bit more secure on the pants. I use the stuff all the time for my figures and it creates a strong bond while still being easy to remove later without causing any damage to the fabric.

The EBay exclusives are being sold by me and yes they are legit. The delivery date is an estimate that eBay come up with and I can not change it.

They will be shipped on the official release. As Dave has pointed out we will have them way before the official release but we will not be breaking the release date.
