I think both exclusive items have fun factor written all over them, and will have many uses.

The Vulcan lute has a good handful of appearances in TOS, and goes on to make appearances in the later Trek shows as well. If at some point I decide to build Spock's quarters, I can't imagine not having his lute in place in the background.

I'm sure Spock is the same sculpt but the factory paint is what looks off. I can't put my finger on it yet but there is something not right.

100%. Ive said this multiple times. Its the eye shadow. The proto had it but not tis one. Also rosier cheeks and the / pupils looked better on the proto. This new one is much blander. Like mass produced lower quality blsnder. Same sculpt but no complimentary paint work. Nanjin says its better but with no reason why. Nanjin pproduced super close ups with the proto showing how good it was. This new production pics has no HD close ups like before. The paint is what sold me.

The quick turn around on these is good. Someone posted about a movie Kirk. What are QMX's plans for Star Trek figures? The whole crew? Some TV characters like Khan? I would like to get TV and movie Khan.

It's sounding like we'll get the TOS crew first. TNG Picard has been teased in the past but there's been no further word.

I'd like a TWOK Kirk & Spock before any other classic crew.

These look terrific, as expected. Passed on both exclusives, would never pose with them...

You had the option to purchase the regular or exclusive version on the qmx website. I chose regular spock and exclusive kirk.

These are going to be a blast to pose. I can see myself changing them up often as Michael said in his review, after viewing various episodes.

Thanks MC for the great review! The only thing concerning me about these, is the bodies. I'm sure the quality is fine, but in some poses, there are odd folds created in the chest and torso. But I can't wait to get them in hand!!!

I just ordered the regular versions of Kirk and Spock from QMX. I have no use for the exclusive editions. I wish the exclusive item was the Lirpas from "Amok Time". Anyone thinking of making them?

I really don't care much for Star Trek, but these figures are unbelievably good - almost enough to make me grab them anyway. The Kirk fig captures Shatner's look so well.
