If they ever start making figures from the new movies, I'd be in some deep trouble there. Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Uhura, Cumberbatch Kahn, etc etc etc

Personally if they do the TOS movie figures, I hope they go for the slightly older looks they had in Undiscovered Country over TWOK. Not just because it was their final movie together but because the actors (Shatner especially) looked so much more distinguished.

I know things dont sell out like they used to but this is somehing you get now. The protos look great and theres never been a high end 1/6 for ANY trek figure. And trek by nature is a geek/collector's dream. I dont PO as much as i used to but it wasnt worth the risk for me.

Ordered both exclusive Figured, you never know.
I was a little worried about shipping when I saw they had to be ordered individually, but relieved to see free shipping.

No such luck here in Oz. Minimum shipping is $US70 per figure. Will take a chance on a local reseller getting the ex's or just settle for the regulars.

I think Nanji alluded to the whole crew but I don't remember his words exactly.

He or Dave said something to the effect of, "Wait'll you get a load of Uhura!"

Ordered both Ex, and if (hopefully) they do the rest of the crew, I'm in for ALL of them. Waiting might not be the best idea, particularly since Nanjin said they're not just advertising these to 1/6 collectors, but Star Trek fans overall.

Agreed. Plus it would make a great bookend set to have the crew from the start of their journeys together on TV displayed alongside the crew from the end of their journeys together on film.

This is Nanjin we are talking about. He will work on putting out as much Trek as they will let him. It is great when a real fan of a particular property gets to work on it.

I hope they do the TOS movie crews too. I was born in the 80s so TWOK, Search for Spock & Voyage Home was actually how I was introduced to Stark Trek.

I ordered the regular Kirk. I've always hated that model phaser rifle so saving $20... Lol. I'm not sure about Spock. Something looks off to me. I liked the prototype pics better.

The paint might be slightly different, but it looks like the exact same sculpt to me. Although I think I probably will want to repaint mine just to see if the likeness can be improved at all.

Payment from their site is due at time of order.

On the email receipt, it looks like shipping from PA, USA.

I'm sure Spock is the same sculpt but the factory paint is what looks off. I can't put my finger on it yet but there is something not right.

I gave in and PO'd the exclusives. Really liked Kirk's; the Vulcan lute was a pass for me, but it didn't feel right doing one ex and one reg... The free shipping helped swallow the higher price point. That being said, glad I'll be getting the rifle, one of the chintziest looking of all the Star Trek props ever. I'm looking forward to doing some over the top Shatner poses, now

Yeah the phaser rifle doesn't really fit the style of the main TOS episodes, but I still really love the retro-scifi look of the thing anyway.
