I've always fancied a 350 scale TOS Enterprise with a full light kit... maybe one day if I start practicing with simpler models!

I bought the Refit and my original plan was to buy about 50 Citadel 25mm figures for display, including lots of head swap customs. I bought roughly enough figures off Ebay over the years and the new ST RPG coming out is going to have figures albeit at a larger 32mm but I'll see if they bring out any TMP ones. The QMX figures may end up in a bridge set if we're lucky!

Today I invested in some colorful backgrounds. I was aiming for the artificial studio light in the scenes on a planet that were shot in a studio. Especially the purple one was inspired by screenshots I saw on Tumblr of the episode "That which survives".

Dammit, Bones must still have my copy of the White album :wink1:

Great pics!!! :clap

Got my set out on display today. Nice figures. The nostalgia factor makes me want to say "greatest figures ever!" :lol

Kirk it pretty much spot on Shatner. Love the sculpt. Spock is decent. Definitely recognizable but the sculpt is kinda bumpy and unrefined. Paint apps are good on both, not as tight as HT but better than a Sideshow.

Kirk's shirt is a bit on the green side. I'd have preferred a more mustard yellow color. Both of their shirts would have looked better if they had been a less shiny material too.

Kirk's body and padding are spot on. Nipples are too prominent but maybe it was cold that day. Spock's physique is too buff as some have mentioned.

Accessories are awesome. Lots of hands. Phaser and comm are tops. Stands are great, painted wonderfully and a nice size even with the logo on them.

Boots are stellar and love the added utility belt and use of magnets in them and the pants. Plus QMX quickly corrected a belt issue by sending out replacements and a nice little card. That's a class act right there.

Overall very nice and long overdue in the production 1/6 market. Looking forward to the rest of the main crew from QMX.

Not only that, the price was managable and they came with all the accessories you would reasonably think of.

I can't wait for them to put TNG up for PO. Yes, Worf needs work but you know they will turn out just as great as these. I spent a lot of time looking at the prototypes uniforms, everything is perfect.

If they can keep up the quality and sculpt likenesses from here on in, they'll rule the world of 1/6 :lol

I just hope they can, as we've all seen other companies start strong and then rapidly go down hill. And I also hope they don't get greedy on prices.

Sulu and Worf are a bit wobbly - Fingers crossed they'll listen to fans and sort them out though.

There are two great Youtube from The Spot for each one of these characters, even after all these weeks being out. I personally find that strange given the awesomeness of these. I don't need any more affirmation by review that these are great, it just seems more videos should be up. Should I use that as a barometer of demand for these?

These of course are my first sixth scale figures I have ever bought. Mainly it was NECA Apes or the Hasbo's Black Series that was on my buying list for the past couple of years, and at their prices any kids could buy one and post a video.

Is this normal for the high end figures? Just wondering of course

I agree with everything you said in this posting. Especially the "green" shade of the command shirt. Having grown up with TOS, I've always pictured it more mustard/gold. Now, if they do the wrap-around shirt, I'll take the green.
