Wow, now this is a great shot.

I just went and bought the figure based mostly on this photo alone.

To be honest most depictions of Spock to me in any scale look a bit cartoonish and exaggerate his features a bit, seemingly adding about 10 years to his appearance in TOS and making him appear more as he did in the films. This picture is the first one ive seen that really captures him. Definitely have to get his head repainted when I get it in hand.

In hand and right out of the box he looks really old... it's the repaint in this photo that helps disguise that.

Like I said, il have to get it repainted. I also think a good body swap is in order. Something that will make him look skinny and lanky.

In the show Kirk was always reaching for the phaser on his hip and communicator at his back. When I place the gold belt over his right hip the communicator magnet is in the front on both figures. Is that right or are the magnets misplaced on my set?

Wearing the Season 1 belt, comm goes on in front. Without (season 3), comm goes on at the back.

"Spock's Brain"

I couldn't resist buying this brain shaped eraser yesterday in a dollar shop.
Wonder if I should go on a quest trying to illustrate all Star Trek episodes. They often had very poetic names, it may be fun to come up with a different interpretation!

I love the titles of the episodes!

"Is there in truth no beauty?"
"The conscience of the King"
"What are little girls made of?"
"Who mourns for Adonais?"
"A taste of Armageddon"
"Friday's child"
"The deadly years"
"By any other name"
"The savage curtain"
"That which survives"
"All our yesterdays"

And on and on...

"What are little girls made of?"

"For the World Is Hollow, and I Have Touched the Sky"

Yes, these two were among the first that came to my mind. They are really great. It was all innocently thought out but now someone mentioned "The naked Time" and my brain went into overdrive ;) I think we will have fun with this. I may do some of it with the 6" figures though, depends which items are needed. So I'll probably can't post them in here.

My favorite title has always been "City on the Edge of Forever".
And it has the best closing line of any episode (in my humble opinion ).

I just got captains chair looks alright IMG_1244.JPGIMG_1245.jpgIMG_1246.jpgIMG_1247.jpg
