Re: Whose on this one?

What is so hard about using the SEARCH function when making a thread?

Re: Whose on this one?

The search option can be your friend. I'd merge this thread, but alas my mod powers only reach so far.

Re: Whose on this one?

I'm not getting any... wait, uh, umm.....

Re: Whose on this one?

The thing with Tonner is there's a crap load of clothing and accessories that comes with the actual piece that can be burdensome. Nonetheless, they are nice pieces with amazing facial art and representation.

Re: Whose on this one?

thread rated, of course.

I haven't followed things here closely enough of late to know who's fighting or why, so I'll just return to the subject of Elvira.

I didn't initially like the Sideshow PF, but I pre-ordered 'just in case' and found that with time it's become one of the things I most look forward to. I had thought I'd prefer something more literal, but the Tonner version really doesn't capture her likeness for me, while the Sideshow PF captures her essence in a way that seems appropriate.

I had high hopes for a more realistic version in 1:6 from AmokTime since they unveiled this sculpt (on a temporary body; hence the bobble neck) last year:

However, I spoke to someone at AmokTime about a month or so ago and though he was vague, I got the idea that both the Elvira and Bettie Page figures are having a tough time getting approved by the licensors. Maybe by the time they work it out, GoHero will have a female body that plays mp3 files...Elvira's the perfect subject for the talking treatment.

I had not preordered the Elvira Pf originally but after spook I can to appreciate it's campy look. Perfect piece to honor such a great and funny character.
So I am happy to say I am off the waitlist and have set up flexpay. Now I can't wait to have her divine spookiness.

I'll bring the mud, who's got the kiddie pool and lounge chairs? Sounds like a good ol' fashion slobber knockin' drama queen slapfight! Although, in a surprise change of rules, considering those involved, first Emo to stop crying first wins! :p

Seriously though, that sculpt from AmokTime is friggin' awesome! They definitely nailed the Cassandra Peterson likeness. I'm guessing though, that any licensing deals went to Sideshow with Elvira herself so I'm betting that it's been shelved. It'd really be a shame though. I'd snatch that up in a heartbeat.
