i'm starting to get excited about this issue. i have my order in and i think once some pics turn up from the actual piece, it will turn out to be a winner. it may just take a bit longer to explain to house visitors what the appeal of this particular piece is...

i have no problem doing that with the PF indy and iron man comiquette. people love those two pieces!

tell me about it. I think theres something about anything from the alien franchise though. People always make nice comments about my stuff then see something from alien that usually looks a little freaky and go " what the hell is that ?" .



I guess you need to REALLY be a fan to understand.
I still have this on order and really really hope I can keep it. I haven't got a clue where it could do though.

Had a question though for anyone who is there at the show......I am curious about the webbing between the legs......

is it actually a translucent material??

or is it painted to look like its translucent??

Hey praetorian you can definetly see though the webbing I put my fingers under it and you can see right through it. Also after seeing it in person I am thinking about picking it up its pretty sweet looking.

WOW that is AWESOME!! Thanks for the info That may have just sealed the deal for me.....I like everything else about it, the big question mark for me though was the webbing. There goes another 600 dollars!!

If its not too much trouble, could you by chance take some pictures of that bad boy and post em here?

Maybe some pics with your hand showing through the webbing

Also, how visible, "distracting", is the metal rod propping it up? In your opinion, does it detract from the piece at all?

haha, I think so

I think everyone has forgotten that this piece is there - everyone has been so wrapped up in the Aliens Maquette and PredAlien bust (not that I am any different, hehe)

I really do want to see some pics of this though, its getting close to the release date so I would assume the piece on display is the actual production piece that we would get at our homes.
